Easy solution: $ell them, eat them, export them to Asian, Caribbean and African countries. How had is that?
ОтветитьMormoneque breeding? What kind of racist bullshit is this?
Ответитьunique You take something from their home and use it and when it doesn't suit you anymore you just kill them for fun... My African ancestry feels for these fish.
ОтветитьCalling the people that let you on the boat bozo is a shitty thing to do
ОтветитьOne would think the pet food industry would be all over this. Hmm.
ОтветитьNow there’s a way to make a healthy version of a fish stick or even some sort of nugget without needing to cut the supply with fillers 🤷🏾♀️ but hey .. what do I know 😊
ОтветитьSounds like a great idea
Hundreds of low IQ drunken rednecks screaming up and down the river not a life jacket in sight. Might kill a few red necks
we eat them here damn it.
Ответитьamericani...
ОтветитьAmericans is picky eaters Mcdonalds is waving👋
ОтветитьEuropean introduce European carp, boar, into america and Australia and called them invasive species that's pathetic 😅😅😅😅😅 even European humans are also invasive races of humans 😂😂😂😂 it sound racist and funny but true,
ОтветитьGood intention scientists my butt. They knew what they were doing. It's all part of a plan to destroy this country.
ОтветитьI hate those fishes with a passion. Last time I was at the lake one started nibbling on my pinky toe, then I tried to kick it but it swam away. I was furious than a MF! Next time I see one, I’m gonna sock it and let it sink with a concussion.
ОтветитьThis fish is good in taste
ОтветитьDelicious eating fish ❤❤
Ответитьwhats so bad in asian carp ?
i really dont understand .
Yeah the fish barrier that the army corps of engineers erected on the Chicago shipping sanitary canal, is useless.
The way it works is they put high current into the water on the sides and then this is transmitted to a blast Mat. The theory and point behind it is there's enough current to electrify the water. What most people don't understand is how electricity works in water. Water by itself is not conductive it is the settlement and suspension in the water that makes it conductive. This means that in the winter whenever there is runoff from salt put on the roads that gets into the water, it is drawing more current then in the summer when there is less salt or sediment. Regardless electricity will always travel the path of least resistance. This means that with the barrier running at 60 hertz that it will always go to the ground 60 hertz. To make it more effective they could run a transitioning current heads wanted 40, 50, 60 and alternate along with their grounds but even that would be a point-to-point transmission through the water.
The original inventor of this was a college professor and he being that it would not work. Aside from the path of least resistance issues, current going through the water depends on the size of the object in its field. Voltage depends on the length of the object running through. The longer the fish is regardless of species, The More voltage will have an effect. The shorter the fish is, down to a minno or fry, they can swim right through with no problem. Amperage in the voltage is indicative of the surface area of the object going through the field. The smaller the fish the smaller the surface area and when it gets down to the size of minnows and frys, there is none.
So this barrier is a deterrent for a larger fish if it runs through the path of least resistance for the electrical field but will do nothing to stop smaller fish.
The irony to all of this, the army corps gets a substantial budget which numerous generals have made their careers off of. Doesn't matter if it works or not it is budget. The flip side to it is the citgo lemont oil refinery, the largest in the nation, this sitting right next to the river and barrier. They could do a partnership and run the flue gas into river basically removing the oxygen from the water and adding carbon dioxide. Then it wouldn't matter what size the fish was if they can't breathe are not going to swim through it. Don't worry there's a Lock and dam just down the river that whenever the water would go over it would be reoxygenated and release the carbon dioxide.
Another viable solution would be a bubble screen. If you have ever watched people practicing high dives, they use the same thing in order to reduce the water tension and buoyancy and making the impact of repeated dives softer. How would this work? A series of cheap pvc pipes arranged in a grid from side-to-side all the way to the bottom with holes drilled in them. Compressed air is then injected through the pipe and your bubble screen is made. You would need to make a series of these probably 3. Where you could turn off one as barges went through, then turn on 1 and turn off 2, then turn on 2 and turn off number three. You could use compressed air or flu gas. The reason why you have to turn them off as barges go through would be so that they didn't lose buoyancy going over top of the bubble screen and sink which is the same reason why fish wouldn't go through it. The setup would be the lowest cost solution and could be controlled by electronic eyes activating solenoid switches on the bubble screens.
Alternatively they could introduce a another invasive species that targeted the carp as food. Right now the only thing that eats them are the gar but there aren't enough of them to impact the population.
Carp really delicious, so sad they don't like that's 😢
ОтветитьThese guys are VERY disrespectful to this fish...
They are filter feeders.
Their population..like every other animal...inclusive to humans...should be maintained NOT disrespected.
These guys simply lack the imagination to utilize this resource.
It's not the carp's fault...ITS YOURS...
here we not enough fish to eat bodoh american
ОтветитьAre you sure they are not Russian?? They invade and destroy everything not there's!!!...😬😬😬
ОтветитьThats like redneck tenis
ОтветитьAmericans hate it because "Asian".
ОтветитьThe federal government created this mess in the 60s.
Ответитьhow about spending all these money (originally for killing / barring the fish) to educate American how to eat fish with bones???
ОтветитьIn india carp are mainly eaten
Ответитьsounds like something humans do
ОтветитьMake a dog/cat food factory next to the river!
ОтветитьThey are in Lake Michigan now.
ОтветитьSolution: fresh water shark that is big enough to hunt carp but small enough that there’s not 14’ behemoths swimming around in our rivers. Once the carp are eradicated we just hunt the sharks. Sharks reproduce very slowly.
ОтветитьOkay. Hear me out. Buy a badass Katana. Sharpen the absolute piss out of it. Then just stand up in the boat and play fruit ninja with carp. That’d be so sick. Carp ninja.
ОтветитьWear a helmet damn it
ОтветитьMake dog food out of them!
ОтветитьYep but they aren't willing to close the actual waterway to the lake as it would cost businesses money 🙄 America! 🤣🤣🤣
Ответить=IN ACTUAL,IT'S PRETTY DAMN GOOD ABOUT THE CARP,BECAUSE OF AMERICANS WERE ALWAYS LACKING OF SOME FISH DISHES....SO AS IT IS NOW IT'S ALREADY DAMN GOOD ABOUT WHOLE MISSISSIPPI RIVER ACTING AS HUGE FISH POND AND MAY EVEN B BETTER IF IT'LL GET TO GREAT LAKES
.......IN CENTRAL ASIA,DEEP FRIED RIVER FISH IS ONE OF DELICACY,AND SO MANY OF DELICACY IS SWIMMING AROUND,THOUGH
=SO........WHY NOT TO MAKE A DEEP FRIED FISH BRANDED RESTRAUNT FRANCHISE CHAIN ACROSS ALL INFESTED RIVERS BY THIS ONE TO SERVE FRESHLY CAUGHT IMMEDIATELY DEEP FRIED CARPS THAT ARE GOOD JUST BY THEMSELVES
.......BUT IN THAT CASE,THE OPPOSITE PROBLEM WILL EMERGE ABOUT IF ONLY IT'LL BE A SUCCESS,THEN FISH SUPPLY WILL JUST DIE OUT AND IT'LL BE NEEDED TO ACTUALLY BREED THESE ARTIFICIALLY
.......THESE DEEP FRIED ONES ARE BEING EATEN SIMPLY BY HAND WITH NO SUCH A FORK/KNIFE/WHATSOEVER.......
=AND NATURAL ECOSYSTEM OF MISSISSIPPI RIVER ALREADY CRUSHED WITHOUT ANY POSSIBILITY TO REPAIR,SO IT'S BETTER TO JUST USE WHAT'S LEFT BY THE FULLEST
This looks so much fun
ОтветитьWhy not use these invaders as a cheap replacement for canned tuna? It can be used for school lunches, prison food, cat food, farm feed, organic fertilizer, or worse.
ОтветитьPlease check this verse
Revelation 12:17
And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
hey, bunch of idiots, why the fuk u dont wear helmets ?
ОтветитьI don’t want anything to do with Dave’s morning load, bud. Thanks
ОтветитьDon't forget about the 'Killer Asian Hornets' too! Lol
ОтветитьAsian carp tasty af wat ye crying bout
ОтветитьCalling it Asian carp sounds like a discrimination against Asians 🤣🤣
Invasive species can come from any other regions into a particular habitat/country. Since the fish was introduced by your own ppl.. call it an invasive species whatrever nickname.
Leave it to Chef Phillipe to eat anything. Nutria, Asian Carp, that man could make any meat edible 😅
ОтветитьThe funniest part about all this is that I was thinking to myself the whole time "Why don't we just eat them all? It's free food." And then I got to the end of the video where they said that this fish is a delicacy in China but Americans don't like fish with bones in them. I started laughing...because I'm Chinese. LOL
ОтветитьCan fertilize the fields with them.
ОтветитьThis idea that if you stop the fish swimming upstream with electric barriers and dams doesnt really make sense to me. It's well known that fish eggs are often transferred by birds via their feet and droppings. This is the reason why a newly formed pond or lake will (given time) support fish species without any human help. Wouldn't surprise me if the great lakes are already invaded.
