I like to think that Dirt is looking upon the Nevada northern engines that never made it into preservation
ОтветитьDirt the cat. What a name. It seems like dirt was the exception to the feline rule. Maybe it's because he wasn't truly confined. My wife and I have had cats since we've been together. But my wife has had them for longer than me. Ours have always been house cats. Not free to roam the neighborhood. 3 have passed since we've been together. Zeus the first one that passed tried 3 times in 3 days to get out between our legs, and finally did. Tried looking everywhere with no luck. Never saw him again. Phoenix was a black 6-toed Hemmingway. He tried the same trick but did not succeed in getting out. A day after the last attempt he was found passed away on our Sons bed where He would sleep when our Son would be gone for a few days. The 3rd cat Sugar was attached at the my wifes hip.. Because of bad backs I had our bedroom to myself and my wife had the living room and Sugar would never come into my bedroom, but under the bed is where she picked to pass away. None of them showed any illness and we where surprised and saddened each time. My wife says they know what's coming and will go off to die by themselves. Dirt must have been really tired or very comfortable with his surroundings, which was a good thing for guys at the shop knowing when and where and didn't have to go off looking for him. DJ has some big paws to fill. Boy, don't we love our pets.
Ответить😔💔😢😭 12:30am
ОтветитьI'm sorry for your loss
ОтветитьRest in peace Dirt. You did good.

ОтветитьVery well done tribute. I got to see Dirt and DJ when I visited the NN this past August.
ОтветитьDid he pass away or was he in such bad shape did he have to be put down ? I had a cat that lived 22 years but its kidneys failed and sadly had to do the right thing she was in pain . I have a cat now that is 13 and I hate to think about that happening to it .
ОтветитьAhh man Dirt I always liked hearing about thru toyman television RIP Dirt ♥️👍
ОтветитьSad news from Nevada. It's good to know that the museum plans to honor Dirt with a funeral service and two bronze statues. So he will live on forever. Thanks for posting. RIP Dirt.

Ответитьour pets will treat us better than some folks will they just do not live long enough farewell Dirt the Cat you are missed he will wait in Rainbow Bridge for you
ОтветитьOn my old Lionel layout one of my cats would sit in the parking lot of an apartment building. He would just sit there and watch the trains go by cuz you could watch his head go from side to side as he would watch one and then another. There was a cute picture and classic toy trains of a tunnel portal with a cat's head sticking out of it, very cute picture. In my old Model Railroader magazines from the 1940s and 50s when they show pictures of railroad club's members their resident Mouse ER in the picture. Having a cat living in your train Clubhouse kept the mice and the Rats away because they would chew on the wiring. One guy had his cat have her litter of kittens in the middle of the lake on his train layout. I lost both of my cats this year broke my heart I know what you're going through my condolences. A fellow train and cat lover
ОтветитьThe hell with family it is our pets that love us. When I die I don't want to see any family I want to see all of my beloved animals I have lost over the year. I would love to be reunited with them. I have to stop now I'm crying
