I'm a Trekkie, so I'd probably grab my tea and say "Print out urgent on all stations, on all decks...prepare for emergency saucer sep". 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьFor my money considering price, quality and ambiance I recommend the Palm Court at the Firtzroy in Bloomsbury.
Love your videos!
(But sorry, I am Cornwall all the way when it comes to scones and clotted cream. And … “white” and “chocolate” should never be used next to each other. 😅)
I had afternoon tea at Harrods years ago and it was a very nice tea. They kept bringing more scones:) I’m a jam first girl.
ОтветитьHas anyone had the Wicked themed afternoon tea at the Clermont? I got it as a package deal before I watch the Wicked show 😊
ОтветитьWow....this woman is so sexy
ОтветитьI was schooled in Tasmania and I love scones. When I was back to Germany I would bake my own scones and in summer I would make my own raspberry jam 😊. Oh people don’t get scones. They just don’t. 😂
ОтветитьLo odio vecchia
ОтветитьVegetarian tea? As opposed to meat in it?
ОтветитьI’m so excited! I’m going to London in February and I’ve literally been binge watching your whole channel all week! First time in London 😊
ОтветитьSounds like I would love London! But intensive on the sweets........
ОтветитьThanks!!
ОтветитьI really enjoy the way you present things (through American eyes but acclimated to the London ), it’s easy and takes the stress away.
I’m American and I understand your jokes and mannerisms.
I cannot wait to go to London ❤
Love all the different price points and experiences 💪🏼
How is the afternoon tea at Harrods?
ОтветитьWhy do Americans have such terrible table manners? Supposed to use a fork with cakes. Also break open your scone not cut it.
Ответить❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьLovely video ❤ Your so humble and honest, appreciate that!
ОтветитьI would go to tea by the water and scones!!
ОтветитьThanks for the great info! Just checked and the Sanderson is now £60! Must be holiday prices.
ОтветитьThe EXTREMELY EXCESSUVE USE OF TALKING WITH YOUR HANDS WAS A HUGE TURN IFF TO YOUR PRESENTATION. YOU YOU BE WELL SERVED, AS WOULD YOUR VIEWERS IF YOU TONED DOWN THE EXCESSIVE LOW CLASS EXCESSIVE HAND TALKING AND CLASS IT UP A BIT DEAR!
PERSONALLY, THIS US THE 1ST AND LAST TIME I WILL WATCH YOU AS A PRESENTER.
YOU CAME ACROSS AS A 12 YEAR OLD VS. AN ADULT WOMAN. OH! SANS ELBOWS ON THE TABLE TOO!😮
Food looks tasty
ОтветитьJust Lovely
ОтветитьI 'll have the pink Champagne thanks
ОтветитьShe said vegetarian tea. She meant the food is vegetarian or like emphasizing the tea she drank is vegan? Huh???
Ответить👋🏼 First video and I’m subscribed! Enjoy your presentation (and content, of course). 😜 I have seen other British people doing afternoon/high teas and they say you don’t slice the scone, you twist them open. 😳 I say scone like it’s spelled. Long O! 🤣 You have one of Heathrow so, onward I go. 👉🏼🇺🇸
ОтветитьThank you very informative!
ОтветитьI will visit London next Spring and would like to try an afternoon tea for the first time. Is there any etiquette to the afternoon tea. Are those sweet refillable? Can I take what leftover home? Is there a place for solo? Thank you!
ОтветитьHi! Where can I go for an afternoon tea on Christmas day? I've tried checking out the Ritz, Claridge's, no luck! Help!
ОтветитьWas the food you showed for one person or more? If it was for one person, I would need to skip breakfast and lunch :)
Thanks for showing the different price points!
I LOVE that costume about the afternoon tea. 🎉🎉🎉lovely video. Please Carry on so❤❤you are great💃💃fantastic Cicerone👏👏👏👏👏👏
ОтветитьAny good vegan ones?
Ответитьi love the teas
Ответитьsweetcakes sounds nice
ОтветитьI think it's excellent that you took in consideration different price points. I'm Colombian, in our culture we do "elevens" and afternoon tea/coffee. I've been to many high teas and I love them. But, for me, your latter option of just the scones and tea was lovely and just the right amount of food I want in an afternoon snack. This is a recommendation I've never seen before. Could you tell me, do bakeries in London also offer tea and a place to sit? Or is it more like most French or Italian bakeries/bars where you take your coffee standing?
ОтветитьHi! i tried finding the cream tea in chelsea garden’s the ivy menu, but couldn’t find it in any. is there a link?
ОтветитьThese all look wonderful. Unfortunately, I have become gluten intolerant. Did you notice if any of your options offered a gluten-free alternative?
ОтветитьPlanning on taking my son for his 13th birthday to the Shard building at Ting for afternoon tea. You are welcome to join us 👍. Although still a long way to go (June 2024) 😂
ОтветитьFun. But you didn't get much food, especiallyfor being high end... not enough to be full.
Devon way: cream first, jam on top. Cornwall way: first jam, top cream. Cream first on scone is scientifically prooven to be the correct way. You can read the science papers online. So you did it correctly.
Hiii! I'm going to London, more specifically, Dulwich, and I was looking for some afternoon tea spot there. Any ideas?😊
ОтветитьMy vote goes to the Savoy afternoon tea, but there are many other great ones.
ОтветитьSo glad you included The Sanderson. We did it and LOVED it! Good work Jess!
ОтветитьThe costs are per person!
ОтветитьI just checked the Icy Chelsea Garden and it's £32.95
ОтветитьJess, heading to London in Oct. What are your fave veg restaurants?
ОтветитьLove your videos, which are in a league of their own. You and your team deserve to be on national TV.
ОтветитьTea for 2 Jess...Brilliant!
ОтветитьAnother informative gem. Splendid Jess. Thanks a bunch luv ❤😊
ОтветитьAre there any places that have gluten free options?
ОтветитьWhat about the Sky garden behind your back ?
ОтветитьWhat makes tea not vegetarian?
Ответить
