Watching this in 2024, and the ending made me sob. The last birthday i had with my grandpa still with us i didnt get to really spend with him because as an essential worker i had to work and i knew if my grandpa got covid he'd die. I had covid on my birthday that year and i visited because they wanted to give me my gifts. (They left it them in the entry way and i was obviously masked up and stayed far away from them) i just realized that was the last birthday he was here with us. I couldn't spend time with him, for above reasons like i would of liked to. I always felt like such an awful granddaughter and friend that i didnt spend more time with him before he passed and it just all hit me at once that i literally couldn't without endangering him. Its taken me basically 3 years to process that, and i just randomly let the video play and being able to remember that stuff helped process a lot. Thank you king. Flawless as always.
ОтветитьThis was.... 2 years ago, therefore these ppl were grown as fuck!!!! I had no idea that half of these people did this...damn I gotta do some unfollowing👀
Ответитьthis video aged poorly
ОтветитьIs he dead?
Ответитьwhat a deep voice this beautiful girl has
Ответитьman is FITTED
ОтветитьThe whatabaoutism of those fratboy influencers is really childish but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it was indeed a marketing move from ariana. If she's willing to exploit every single racial minority, why wouldn't she also exploit this oppurtunity to make herself look better?
ОтветитьWhy did he abandon this channel?
ОтветитьThank you. Needed joy about this still unprocessed pain from how terrifying it was to be disabled in this time you are so funny thank you
ОтветитьI absolutely agree with everything on this video, but… cancel culture is just stupid. You can cancel someone, but they’re still gonna make money, it doesn’t really affect them anyway. They’re gonna have fans, they’re gonna make more music, videos or whatever, people are gonna listen despite what the person has done, they will survive either way. If people actually stopped watching their videos, listening to their music, they would stop supporting the person, therefore they’d lose a lot.
ОтветитьMy god, your voice ❤
ОтветитьUnacceptable that you haven’t uploaded in 2 years
ОтветитьI wonder if you still dislike Lana del rey as much as you do here
ОтветитьMy friend lost four family members within the first six months of covid. I almost lost my partner, and he will never recover fully from this.
For a while, I too tried to be nice about it, but it feels so much better to just unapologetically hate people who are willingly endangering the lives of others. Honestly, that's self care.
As soon as I realize Dr Mike reacts to TikToks, I knew he isn’t legit.
ОтветитьIt’s 2023 and just thank you for always putting out amazing content that is visually and emotionally striking. No one does it like you.
ОтветитьDoctor Mike deciding he didn't have any loved one that is at risk... While being a litteral doctor, meaning he IS in contact with vulnerable persons everyday... Disgusting. Just. Disgusting.
ОтветитьYou're way too good at roasting them. OMG😂
ОтветитьWatching this nearly three years later is surreal.
In the past few years, I lost an aunt and two cousins to Covid-19, and I couldn't attend funerals because of safety protocols.
Everything is basically back to “normal” now, but just two weeks ago, AP reported that even mild Covid 19 infections are causing irreparable damage to the cardiovascular and respiratory systems that can go undetected until it’s too late.
That makes what these influencers did during a time when there was little information about the disease, no vaccine, and no other form of treatment for symptoms even more egregious. Their careless disregard for the people around them is going to have a lasting impact that they don't realize.
I hope the parties were worth it.
Rewatching this in summer ‘23 and wow…. it cuts deep to know how flippant influencers were back then and how literally nothing has changed. Wild.
10/10 video, man. Glad to see you back at it with banger after fuckin banger.
As punishment for their actions, these people should have been forced to work on COVID relief projects.
ОтветитьWhats the song at the ending?
ОтветитьI miss you ❤ hope you’re well
ОтветитьMy mom died because of covid hospital rules
Ответитьbro come back
ОтветитьWow. This is such a well made video. I’m watching “when the pandemic is over” … 😂 … right. Anyway, you were a strong voice in the dark times. Thank you. Especially your take on fines. So well said. Do you have a degree in rhetoric?
ОтветитьMe watching in 2023 never even knowing about the Dr Mike thing 😳😳😳
Ответитьrewatching this years later as I still suffer the effects this virus had on my body feels like a gut punch. it baffles me how these people treat the lives of others as a joke. it hurts. my heart goes out to anyone who lost loved ones to covid and/or are still affected by the virus to this day
ОтветитьInfluencers need to stop acting like accidents ans mistakes are one and the same.
ОтветитьCW: ableism and d3ath
I’ve almost lost all my grandparents to Covid. One of them was hospitalized for a hip injury and the week that she was supposed to come back her nurse gave her Covid and she passed the very next day. I feel so much anger towards the people whose ignorance and stubbornness resulted in the d3aths of so many, and it’s sickening to see how many of them work in medical fields. We asked for more resources and equipment, and they sent us body bags. I send all my love to everyone who’s lives have been impacted by Covid 19.
CW: over
Thank you for making this video and speaking up when no one else was. This video means so much to me
The compilation of the people affected by this was heartbreaking.
ОтветитьHope you're okay D 😔
ОтветитьIt's annoying Dr. Mike never had to face any serious consequences after all he did and how he handled it. Well, I unfollowed him, thats all I could do 😅
Ответитьi’m glad your grandparents are ok and i hope they had a safe full recovery
ОтветитьThe Dr. Mike thing shook me. I never even heard about that and I seriously looked up to his information during COVID. But I am not shaked by his mistake it’s how he handled it.
People make mistakes. We all do, even stupid ones we shouldn’t but it happens. But it’s another thing to be apathetic or unapologetic about. That happens to. We become to self-centered we just blur everything. But to HIDE it on your second channel (which to this day I didn’t even know he had) that means you are FULLY AWARE that what you did was wrong and instead of facing up to the consequences, you are trying to save your BOTTOM LINE. There is no excusing that.
Just hearing this man's content schedule it's no wonder he left
ОтветитьPlaying the minority card when your minority is being a tiktok creator is really really fucked.
ОтветитьThis aged great Karen
Ответитьjust realized that birdie from Glass Onion is Lana Del Rey
Ответитьwatching this now in may of 2023: i have a couple things to say. my parents are divorced and i lived with my mother. she and her fiance are qanoners and gave 0 shits and completely brainwashed me as a young, very impressionable teenager. seeing d'angelo break down at the end just affected me so much because i couldn't do anything but sit there, and change my own views, change how i do things but my mom and her mans still think it's a "hoax". i had to secretly get vaccinated in 2022. my dad is also kinda like them with his beliefs so him taking it seriously and getting himself vaccinated just restored a tiny ounce of faith in adults for me.
Ответитьdamn that ending really hits hard.
ОтветитьI’m glad you weren’t nice. I had to leave my job for 3 months to self isolate, and my friends, family, and I put our entire lives on hold. I couldn’t go to my best friend’s graduation or my great aunt’s funeral. So many of us made so many sacrifices, but despite people dying, losing jobs, and missing graduations, weddings, funerals, etc, and these celebrities kept going on with partying and going out because their wealth allowed them to act like everything was normal. Call them out
ОтветитьThank you. This is great work.
ОтветитьAnd here we are 3 years later and over a million people died from COVID in the US alone. I hope these influencers so very proud of themselves and how they contributed to those deaths. I had COVID pneumonia a year ago and it was the worst thing I’ve ever been through. I barely made it was in the ICU for a week and wouldn’t wish that on anyone. I’ll never pay off that hospital bill. I hope they’re so happy with themselves.
