I've got a big ol' binder just like this. Don't have any Japanese cards but I've got most of the original set from when I was like 10. Such regret; all the money that was spent on those things. ;) Note to self - if I have kids, don't let them get into anything that's collectable.

You seem like the coolest guy ever! I would always play my brothers games once he had been done with them! I was really young though so I would always choose the cutest ones and I hated evolving them because they looked "ugly". I still play now but I'm a lot better 😂

I once had a bulbasaur keychain (my fave) & I had it on my backpack every single day until someone stole it during school breakfast. I cried for days, and I even went to the principal about catching the culprit! later on, people started making fun of me for liking Pokémon so I gave my card collection (which had been passed down from my brother) to the next door neighbor. I still regret that decision! I had DVDs, plushies, etc. /rambling

Eevee was always my favorite. my goal was to make an army of Eevee and all of its evolutions.

Nice video :) Come to think of it, most my friends were well into Pokemon but I never really caught the bug. Never played the games before it was considered uncool (and before the concept of hipsters :p) and I never had any cards. Watching all these Pokémon card videos almost makes me want to start collecting but if I have to collect trading cards, I'd rather collect MGT cards.

the Pokemon card game is a big rip off of magic it's not hard to play tbh. when I work at the summer camp I always battle with the kids.

I was hooked on Yu-gi-oh , Magic the gathering, and Beyblade , and Pokemon

I learn so much from ASMR videos... I remember hearing about Pokémon but I was already in college when they first came out.

Dude this throws me wayyy back. I still remember I was Charmander. Always fire and nothing else. I still have the Mewtwo, Mew, Ancient Mew, Entei, Suicune, Raiku, Lugia, and Ho-oh. I just remembered how stupid I was fighting over rare cards with my friends...(I was socked). Anyway thanks for nostalgic memories Pudding :).

This was so freakin cool and awesome! And I'm jelly of your Mew, I like that version. I also liked your Raichu, I have a Japanese holo version. You were very organized 😁. My brother and I did the same thing for a while, getting Pokemon cards, but there were times we had alot of the same cards and we stopped collecting 😂🤷. But we did have a binder full of Yu-Gi-Oh cards tho. Good memories 😊
