China does not respect ANY international patent or copyright laws and in fact quite the opposite as the theft is encouraged... If you send your product anywhere near there to save money you design will instantly be sold to guy down the street to begin manufacturing their own and that's only if it isn't the same factory robbing you.

I have one of their game max power supplies 800W from him, feels like ok quality but I never heard of the brand before. Didn’t know they stole case designs as well 💀

Not sure if you've seen it, but the case hasn't been scrubbed from Amazon. It's simply been rebranded as the "NextGenOEM Hype" case instead of GameMax Hype.

This is really weird to me. Here in Chile gamemax is a brand that is present on almost every store even the bigger ones like PcFactory. Fans, Headsets, Even desks !!! I certain recognized before some rips from cougar but not the whole company lol.

Its bizarre how ... not cheap it is. Like copies happen; its morally wrong and in general, just wind up being ultra cheap immitation products that give the "look" (to some degree or another)... but to charge 170$ for a ripoff of a 200$ product is genuinely baffling. You'd expect this to be like 70$ bucks or something, not 170$ lol. Like who is buying this?

you gotta understand that these big brands not always reach all parts of the world and people are just stuck with the cheaper copycat cause nobody is retailing the real deal and also they are expensive af for outside US and EU countries

The interesting thing is that most of these cases are built in a small area in China ( a few city blocks ) and all share the same labor pools. Often these clones are made on the same assembly lines.
So is it "theft"? Well, I guess if you consider that all of the companies in China steal from each other... maybe?
Also, let's be honest. This "copy" has so many things different or wrong with it that it's not really as copy as much as a knock-off.

Copying isn't theft. For "actual theft" you have to take away the thing from the other party. Copying isn't stealing, much like piracy isn't theft.

Someone always made the first design of something and then it got copied. Otherwise we would have monopolies everywhere. Personally, I don't see how more brands using certain designs for PC cases is a bad thing. So should other companies not be allowed to make fish-tank PC cases? Seriously, these 2 cases look totally different to me. Their only similarity is them being fish-tanks.

I have a Gamemax case (the Gamemax Storm in white) and I'm very happy with it. Its a good case for a very affordable price (I paid €35 for it).
