Brilliant! I think I might have to steal some of your methods for the roof structure to add to my citadel castle.
Ответитьim normally just for 40k here but. damn that thing looks Hypnotisingly good
ОтветитьI've built like 4 of these almost exactly as you show in the video and come back to this video whenever I need motivation
Ответитьwent back to this video for reference . bro your a fellow newyorker . i live in upstate near albany . if u still live in the area we should have a beer sometime
ОтветитьDo you use wash on the bricks after painting? The vid only show the green wash at the bottom.
Ответитьyou need to sell this amazing models
ОтветитьDid you win the competition?
ОтветитьThat is awesome!
ОтветитьCANADIAN TOO, same shit happens always! For measuring length, but every thing else is only metric
ОтветитьThis rules
ОтветитьNow ,I can say that I have learnt something after watching this video 😅
ОтветитьMuch easier to use a crumbled up ball of tin foil to roll the details onto the foam before you cut the bricks out. That way you dont have to search for rocks or deal with toxic insulation dust
ОтветитьAnyone know what song this is? Bc this in addition to Eric's voice is totally soothing
ОтветитьYes, you were correct. It is bass wood, not bass wood. I really appreciate your content. The project breakdowns really make this all seem possible for people with limited tooling and experience, and the flow of your videos is great. It is easy for us to see how small, simple details can really enhance a build. I know this is an older video, but I really hope you see this and know even your past content is being watched and appreciated. Thank you.
ОтветитьWhat was the material you made the bricks from? pink “what” foam? Is this identical to pink insulation foam? Also if it is, is there any diff between using Pink (Corning) and Blue (Dow)? Thanks ahead of time. Teach me.
ОтветитьFound your channel yesterday absolutely love your builds me and my childhood friend group have been playing Warhammer for 20+ years and some of us actually met at a games workshop at our local mall when we were children we are starting up a new mordheim campaign for this winter season we are all from New England close to the Canadian border actually can’t wait to get started on some similar builds you have a Lotta great ideas hope you don’t mind if I steal a bunch 😆
ОтветитьDamn It! That was beautiful! 🤩
An exceptional build, and a belter of a tune to boot! 🎸
Until now I've always disappointed when the accompanying music starts and it's not that dirty base'y one that your more recent Necromunda ones have, that one gives my heart a boner! (Magdy Haddad Soul Wars)
You left out the machicolations on the top of the tower.
ОтветитьAs a modeller you should have said ''the type of very thin card used in cornflake boxes/ frozen food boxes'' people might think they have to use that exact box......stunning models as always
ОтветитьAlways use safety gear when crafting. Gloves for epoxy and respiratory care when cutting foam.
ОтветитьI was in a Michael's store in Gainesville Fl., and I could not find "chipboard", most of the stuff was card stock, way too flimsy for what I wanted to do. I got home and went to Amazon and...WOW ! I am more confused than ever with the different points(?). What does it all mean? You use the term Medium chipboard, wanna explain a little more?, Thanks!
ОтветитьThat’s beautiful Eric
ОтветитьThanks for the tutorial. I am so going to use your guide to build my own but for my 1/12 figures
ОтветитьThis looks stunning! I may try something like this, but probably more modular, something like Rp Archive's work.
ОтветитьAs always, great job!!
ОтветитьThats a job well done, love it :)
ОтветитьAmazing piece!
ОтветитьWhat are the bricks made of? Is it plasticine? How does it stay firm?
ОтветитьGreat build AGAIN!
ОтветитьBro, greetings from Binghamton ny!
ОтветитьI love it ❤️
Ответить"It's because i'm canadian, i'll do what i want" won my like.
ОтветитьLove the mixed units.
ОтветитьThat beauty looks like something sold in a store, holy crap.
After getting my hands on a bunch of old Warhammer books it breaks my heart that GW don't use this kind of DIY terrain in their codexes and rulebooks anymore. I'm getting me a glue gun and making buildings this way from now on for sure. If I can get a hold of cheap foamboard I'm gonna build me a whole Bretonnian village and no one can stop me.
This is an awesome build. Does anyone know what the background music is?
Ответитьyou need to put a moist paper towel under your cutting mat to stop it moving as you cut. a moving cutting board is rising cutting yourself.
ОтветитьYes!! He called it a choppa
Ответитьwould white foam from a computer Desk packaing work for build stuff for table top?
ОтветитьThat would be a really nice little mini-adventure for an RPG group! I could imagine having to spend an afternoon clearing the tower, making it up each level till you got to the top and had to fight something nasty.
ОтветитьAlways love your builds! Inspires us for our next race build!
ОтветитьWhen i ear foam i skip the video , sorry
ОтветитьGod DAMMIT Eric this is so good
ОтветитьHaha low-fat soy nectar
ОтветитьYour terrain collection is coming along quite nicely! Well done! :)
ОтветитьGosh I wish I could make terrain for 40k but I suck at it and have only crappy Amazon box cardboard and 2mm craft foam sheets. I have no friends so I've never been able to get my armies into games I just assemble and paint then keep painting because I'm never satisfied lol. Where can I get cheap and good materials for sturdy building
