ОтветитьThank you Tim for sharing this tip on tacking!
ОтветитьI thought the video title meant the other kind of coping. Turns out it was actually about both kinds of coping. Coping with coping with Aluminum with TIG.
ОтветитьAluminium
ОтветитьAlways learning when I watch ,haven't yet try it mine is lift Tig ,thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
ОтветитьAlways learn a lot from you, Tim, thanks so much
ОтветитьCannot emphasize enough the "let the puddle go shiny before adding filler" comment.
This was THE problem I had when learning to TIG aluminium after learning on steel.
Unlike steel, the aluminium puddle starts off "frosty" as oxides float to the surface. This is not the time to add filler as the puddle is contaminated.
After another second or so, the oxides are cleaned off and the puddle goes "shiny". Now you can go nuts 🙂
Very helpful, I've been struggling with exactly this topic...thanks for posting
ОтветитьWD-40 is actually a decent lubricant when cutting and machining aluminum.
ОтветитьGood Tijm
ОтветитьPlease don't use the multi-language function when you upload...it causes the download to be in anything but English.
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьGreat video, Tim! 😘
