The first 2 times I tried cutting a rabbits claws, I made them bleed, after that I never went near a bunny with a pair of clippers ever again. I just get the vet to do it as I don't like causing them unnecessary pain and discomfort. Anyway I used to snuggle up to my bunny in bed and fall asleep with her. My rabbit was my best friend, not just a pet. I felt so bad when I cut my bunnies, but for some reason they didn't take it personally, clever rabbits! My rabbit had big loving brown eyes and she used to lick the teers off my face when I was crying. I used to grow her food in the green house and feed them to her when they were at their best! I made my 2nd bunny fat I gave her so many treats, she just ate everything I gave her!!!! Unfortunately she died of GS! I was unable to get her the help due to unfortunate circumstances. Rabbits can be very loyal loving pets and they are warm soft and fluffy just like guinea pigs!

Every time I trim my bunny’s nail he just pee on me and I had to put him back to his cage then he was mad and he slammed his feet at the ground this is why I hate doing trim nails with him

I can't manage to keep my rabbit still enough to clip his nails but he digs a lot and it seems to keep them filed down so not much complaints there.

This is so helpful. I am a new bun owner. I tried to trim my bun’s nails a week ago and it didn’t go well. I couldn’t get her back paws done. I think the clipper you have with the light would be useful for white pawed bunnies like mine. I need to try the mesh bag trick too because I tried with a little bit of water to push back the fur but it didn’t help.

oh my god i really wanna do this but my rabbit is SO SO SQUIRMY 😭😭😭 i always have such a hard time with these things because my rabbit wont stop squirming until hes free on the ground :( any tips on how to help?

I never have the courage to cut my bunny nails I am always so scared I take them to my grandma who had a bunny and she is now good at clipping off my rabbits nail

My Rabbits would flick everybtime I clip one nail even if i give her carrots and pets after every nail ( I don't cut far at all )

The stugle into getting then stay still and getting them on ur lape though(i reccomend clipping their nails on a table so that they would think that they have nowhere to go but its ur choice

Just a technical note. Front paws on bunnies are called "Piddies" Back paws are called "Hoofies" Your chair is called "IKEA" I still have two myself that are 16 years old and holding up great for bunny mani-pedi's" :)
