what can we learn from this, folks? obviously none of us want to be in a situation where our lives is at immediate risk of death, so instead of just standing there watching people die like the two women did, DO SOMETHING. you gotta think and act quickly. there's no time. that death has to impact your life, it has to make a difference, not just in saving her child, but also in motivating you to be a different person. so please don't just stand there. grab them with all that u can and try to save them and do save them. ok? thats what u would want people to do for you. do it for them too.

There is a bigger video, the two women waiting up there already passed that spot and almost fell in, they waited there to tell others about it and the victim still went up. The stupid thing is that there is a button to stop the escalator. All of them are Darwin award winners.

How horrific and tragic!! My heart and prayers goes out to the dear mother and her child! Got to file a huge wrongful death lawsuit against that disgustingly criminal mall or wherever that is, though it still won't pay for the horrendous tragedy of the child losing her mother.
