I rented the 2023 Prius it’s nice looks like a small Vette .

I’m at 160k miles on my 2021 Prius I can’t wait til I’m ready to get this one, it is so sexy.

I feel this is a must buy car for anyone looking to buy hybrid recently

I grew up driving 60's and 70's Era vehicles. It never ceases to amaze me at how much drivers of new cars have turned into sissies. They whine about how much a display attracts fingerprints or if their little fingers are heated........you can't make this shit up, how did men turn into such sissys 😂

I ordered the XLE AWD in march and I expected to wait for a year, then I call from the dealership that they had the same trim coming in on mid May this year and I can have it if I want it since she said I was first online. I said, of course I will! I got lucky here!

imagine how much nicer it would be to get this car if we didn't have to go through a stealership

Darn I was hoping this would be a sporty kind of model 2 hybrid alternative but it doesn't sound like they made it too sporty. Shame, real missed oppurtunity if they were going to make it awd anyways.

It's funny how all these men are calling this model "desirable," or "exciting," attractive, good-looking, "cool..." why? it looks like a toy. I think it looks ok but I didn't have a problem with the looks of the previous one. It's like when Hollywood makes an ugly duckling movie and they take a female in glasses and use contacts and suddenly the whole school wants to date her instead of bully her. Ridiculous.

I was looking at the Hyundai Ioniq Blue (and the step up trims from that - but not the major Ioniq 5 or 6). How do you compare this car to the Ioniq?

Some pages offer different stats here and there but it looks like the Prius AWD gets less MPH than the Ioniq. Toyotas warranty is almost HALF of the Ioniq (5 year for Ioniq, 3 for Toyota… 60,000 miles for Ioniq, 36,000 for Toyota. Ioniq has larger trunk space….

Why would I get this over last years Ioniq then?

How many inches from the rear trunk to the back of the passenger seat that is slid all the way to the front?

I have a 2020 Limited Prime. This is my 3rd Prius. I like driving small cars. I really don’t mind the looks of it. It’s a Titanium Glow exterior/ black interior. I plug it in at night. The electric only is very peppy. I average 75 MPG. The car stickered for $34,800. The Northeast Region for Toyota had a $4500 rebate on it. Then I got a federal tax rebate for $4502, because it was a plug-in. So I got the car for $26K. It drives nice and smooth. I have a 6 speed Porsche if I need to drive fast. So I’m very happy with my 2020. I’m a car guy. I’ve owned every high end car made. I don’t really care for the shortened rear look of the 23…. I think for the money, Toyota is the best car to own… You guys did a good video, very informative…

A hybrid with good power that can do a 6-7 second 0-60 and give you 45+ mpgs is the perfect driving machine. Reliability and fuel efficiency, sacrificing nothing.

It's a really nice car, but you can buy a Tesla model 3 for cheaper which is a better vehicle. I do really like this Prius though. If it was $30k I'd buy it

I feel like comparing the price to the average car price in the US is a bit flawed. Because that's adding averages with luxury cars, fancy off-roaders, and performance cars.

It would make much more sense to take the average of a new sedan/economy car prices so we can see what we're looking at price wise compared with cars in it's class.

If I didn't have the Toyota RAV4 Prime, I would've purchased this car but I love my R4P~ Toyota makes awesome cars!~

Finally the Prius looks like a nice 4dr sedan.
If we lived in Wenatchee we’d buy the new Prius, but 30 miles away towards Leavenworth, the Prius is simply too low in ground clearance, as we get 5-6 feet of snow every winter.
So we’ll just keep driving our Subie’s.

B mode in any Prius is not for stronger "B"attery regen, it's for stronger "B"rake. Because Prius has no gears, there's no brake for steep declines from the gearbox. B-mode revs the engine higher to create more friction to slow down the speed to save the brake pads. It's a less economical mode to use!

why does having smaller wheels increase mileage, I dont understand that theory? larger wheels would turn less revolutions with more distance per revolution.

“B” mode stands for “Brake Mode”, not “battery”.
