Me & my partner are going to Rio in July and we are so excited! Especially after seeing your content, you guys are amazing video makers! We can’t lie and say we’re not apprehensive though as we’ve been hearing all the stories about how Rio has a high crime rate and you can be robbed. Did you experience anything bad while you were there and what are your top tips for staying safe? I want to do some filming while I’m there like you guys and carry my phone with me to take pictures too but I don’t want to get robbed. How do you prevent that and still capture/enjoy Rio? Did you carry cash around with you too? All your safety tips are welcome!

I'm native to Rio and I'm so glad you enjoyed visiting the city! Sometimes we ourselves miss on some of the beautiful spots of our own city and it takes somebody from outside to cue you in on the cool things your city has. Thank you so much! On my part I loved visiting America! You are such a cute couple and very "immersive" on your cultural attempt to experience all flavors of Brazil, literally! But the top notch star in your video is your sun-tanned pooch, no doubt!!! He is one of the cutest doggies I've ever seen! Should he been born in Rio, I would have named him "Brigadeiro". His fuzzy hair looks like the sprinkled chocolate on the sweet!

Since it was hilarious to see Chris going back for more, here a thing y'all should know:

Brigadeiro (Brigadier) - Melt a spoon of butter with a can of condensed milk and 4 spoons chocolate powder.
After cold, pass some margarine in your hands (so it doesn't sticks) and make little balls and roll choco sprinkle it.
Beijinho (Little kiss) - instead of chocolate powder add shreded coconut
Prestígio (Prestige) - Throw the shreded coconut while cooking the Brigadeiro (or the choco powder while cooking the Beijinho).
It's like 10min cooking and we call it "pan brigadeiro" because we eat straight from the pan cuz we can't even bother rolling them lol

The best season to go to Rio is in June, July that, there less humidity that is good to moisturize de skin and lungs but not to see the views and take clear colors pictures and the places there isn't queues, is cheaper and the water of the sea is not frozen as summer, because of the ocean currents that comes from Antarctica.

As pessoas romantizam demais o 'brigadeiro'. Sou brasileiro e não gosto dos doces que aqui são fabricados por serem exageradamente açucarados. É notório quando elogiam com medo de ofender. Não se preocupem em falar o que pensam, afinal, gosto, cada um tem o seu.

simply Rio is the best place in the world. if you disagree it's because you haven't visited yet. the food is great, people are friendly, weather is pleasant, beautiful natural landscapes... not to mention the rich culture and we have the most beautiful women in the world, with several different types for all tastes. r*cism doesn't exist here, the people are very welcoming. the nightlife is very lively with many options, you never get tired. if there is a place on earth that is blessed it is Rio de Janeiro I am proud to have been born in this blessed country, I feel like experiencing other cultures but I would not trade my country for any other
