My Head-Cannon.

The Father and Daughter had a busy day before the crash. The daughter had a dance recital, afterwards to celebrate, The Father gave his child a teddy bear made by her Mother.
She loves the teddy bear with all her heart and is excited to see her Mother. It’s getting late and they drive to the hospital to see the Mother. They chat, they laugh and the Mother promises her little one that everything will be alright as long her little teddy is by her side.
They drive home. It’s a long drive home, she eventually falls asleep holding her teddy close to her as she falls asleep. Then the rest is shown in the short…they crash and the Teddy is seen as a protector, seen as something to cling onto as she, the Daughter is taken too early from this world and taken to the other.
Her Father jumps in after her…to save his child and so that she truly is never alone. They are greeted by the Aurora from the other side, embracing each-other on the beach of the afterlife.

The Mother…?
She lives…holding her gift close to her chest as she lived but…what is life without the ones you love?
