ОтветитьThank YT for suggesting this video to me! I'm happy from time to time they push video with great content like this!
I have a question tho': how important is it to have good monitors and a good sounding room? Do you have any suggestions about good monitors and how to enhance room acoustics? Thank you!
Just sub’d. Love the way you work. Helped me clearly see where I can build speed both using busses for global touch ups and laying off compression. Ur mix bus chain video also really insightful, love the way you work, ears are key.
Ответитьgreat job on the mix, great job on the video. singer has some killer pipes!
ОтветитьGreat EQ work, really made things pop. I was surprised sampled kick and snare were added near the end, it didn’t seem to be lacking anything. Wouldn’t drum samples at set velocities make the recorded kick and snare dynamics be lost a bit? Love the parallel compression you did on the drums. One of the best to-the-point mixing videos I’ve seen.
ОтветитьSimple yet not condescending. A good balance of just getting on with it vs lots of explanations.
Most of all though, there’s a total lack of ego/cockiness coming from you which often just makes me skip other similar vids.
Cheers!
Good tutorial. Maybe you could comment on the challenges faced in a song with great dynamic range, when even modest compression would sterilize the mood projected, when instruments and voices are added in the latter part of the song, tending to bury the lead voices. Perhaps more compromise than I am willing to make is required.
ОтветитьLove this.❤ you’ve done a phenomenal job in this mixing tutorial.
ОтветитьDude... This is THE best mixing demonstration video I've seen. You rocked it.
Great moves and explanations! THanks.
Thank you for that! 👏 We need more straight forward info like this. Great job 👍
ОтветитьThank you for this clear, illustrative video. Among the thousands of videos out there about similar topic yours was the most simple straight forward I have seen so far. Less dynamic vídeo editing and silly comments and just mix and give wise advices on the go. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьGreat video! I knew I have been on the right track with this but you cleared up several things. Thanks!
ОтветитьVery nice workflow, good job
Ответитьjust gotta say this girl gotta voice for metal
ОтветитьOn guitars, I'm sure you didn't mean "octave", malapropism impedes learning.
Ответитьimagine your the organ player
ОтветитьPhenomenal video.
ОтветитьIt would be awesome if you would sell the stems for this like in that other song you have for sale so that we could follow along and do it also.
ОтветитьThanks ;)
ОтветитьMaking the difficult seem so easy is not something everyone can do. You give courage and endurance, brother. We are with you.✌
Ответитьimpressive
ОтветитьThank you for taking us the musical Mix Journey. Takes to consider when mixing a track. 🎚🎚🎚

ОтветитьThanks thanks thanks from france !!
ОтветитьThis is a good example of Clarity of Instruments / Mixes….thx ( a good ear ) helps also in highs and lows
Ответитьoohhhh lots of comments, you might even read this, at point you said remove the mud, but with that blue eq you didnt say hat frequency you cutting, you just were working not mentioning exactly what. but thanks
Ответитьu have a gifted lovely ear drum..
ОтветитьHad fun comparing the approach in this vid to the Pultec/ Fairchild old school vid - specifically whether the stock Logic Pultec stood up to a third party one (Waves in my case). Matched up all the settings and adjusted for volume and….. the Logic version was way, way better than the Waves versions. That was a big surprise - but let’s just say that I thought my drums sounded decent before. After this video (devil loc on room mics! Wow) I’m super happy with things now. Keep up the good work!! 👏👏👏👏👏
ОтветитьDamn....your before sounds better than my after......
ОтветитьSounds so much better than my mixes before he even does any EQ 😭 maybe my problem is not my mixing skills lol
ОтветитьVery helpful. Thank you
Ответить❤ Great skills
