Can you review some All in one LED low beam lights like Boslla and Lastfit LA Air?

Interesting to see, how much different your tests are compared to someone else I looked at while reviewing these.

I just put the new Philips Ultinon Pro9100 leds in H3 format (LUM11336U91X2) to replace H3 12v 55w halogen bulbs in a Denji projector headlight (1992 Civic).
The halogen bulbs work with no problems, but nothing happens with the Philips Leds, no light and even the cooler for the leds doesn't switch on.
Any clues about what to check ?

How about testing some serious LED like morimoto etc. Anything sold on amazon is ridicules. The claims of 15k plus lumen on many of their led headlight products are totally bogus.

A question.
If my vehicle manual says that the bulb is an H4.12V 55/66W Halogen and I am going to install an LED, should I look for one that has a maximum consumption of 66W to avoid damage to the electrical system? I would like to put a Novsight N60 Ultra Series with 100 W per bulb, but I don't know if that is adequate or if I should stay in that range of 66W maximum for Halogen.

LED's, especially in automotive applications, need to be treated cautiously. A lot of reflectors are designed for a specific colour and position of filament that corresponds to a standard globe. Using an LED can cause the light to scatter, making it not very usable to the driver and blinding/dangerous to oncoming traffic. Automotive lights are designed a specific way to reflect light in a specific pattern and this is very easily changed if a light source does not emit from the exact point the design intended . This means most LED globes in a standard globe fitting will not be as good as a standard globe. As a note, Halogen globes are superior at dusk and dawn, when the 3600K colour is highly beneficial compared to the 6000K of most LED's. This is also true in the rain. the 3600K colour of halogen globes is vastly superior in rain/fog conditions.
LED's look great on paper, and that bright white light and all the advertising makes them look so good, but be cautious, as most cases it can be quite the downgrade over standard halogen globes for older cars

They seem to have improved a lot in comparison to the model you have tested!

Hi dude , there are a lot more better choises of all of these LED's ,and one of the samples were copy of Morimoto's oldest LED's. Anyway morimoto, gtr, diode dynamics and other brands are a lot more better and safe to use than osram and phillips. Cheers

If I understand correctly, those bulbs output way more light in reflector headlights overall than projector ones, right?
So reflector headlights are better, produce more light when you are driving in the night?

Great content, you're one of the few people doing some pretty extensive testing of the bulbs.
I'm going to be snagging a set of the recommended bulbs for a set of Subaru UK300 headlights that run Hella 90mm halogen modules. Previous owner ran high power bulbs in original modules and destroyed the reflective coating, so I had to replace the modules.
Also are there any bulbs you recommend without the big external driver module? a lot of the projector modules I see usually have rubber boot which would make some of these tough to install and keep that boot in place.
Have you tested some of the weirder LED's that have come out? I've been seeing these "quartz tube" led bulbs that supposedly are made to work better in projector modules but it looks pretty suspect.

Vreau sa te intreb daca ai fi dispus sa faci niste revieweuri la noile tipuri de becuri LED care au aparut cu racire cu tuburi de cupru si ce eficienta au. Mersi mult. Kepp it up👆.

Anyone ever have one of these getting so hot it melts and pops the head light fuse? These always felt cheap to me and not as good as a cheap HID kit.

Great Testing method. You should revisit this with more products including the Samsung Mover Bulbs which have the actual diode at the edge which supposedly is better for projectors.

I expect the longest lasting from Phipps, resulting from an excellent thermal management. It is a bit expensive, though.

As a lighting professional, I approve your test. 👍 The only advice I would give you is to use the luxmeter on a stick or a tripod with handheld display unit and sensor on an extension cord, because when you are holding it in your hand, you can be sometimes closer, sometimes further away from the sensor, influencing the reading a little bit...

You cannot use infrared camera to measure the temperature of the object that have different coating (bare metal surface, painted and anodized), because the emissivity is not the same. Then the bare metal surface or anodize will always show lower temp because lower emissivity coefficient. If you want to analyze the real temperature you must use thermistor or thermal couple.
