Golang Basics - Install Go & VS Code

Is this covers all language fundemantals and make me able to write Go web app? If I compare it to those Udemy courses?

I get the following error message after I click ok for command + shift + P > Go: Install/Update Tools.
Error: Unable to resolve nonexistent file '/Users/soc/go/pkg/mod/go.mod'

Don't use Bing because it's Microsoft! A few seconds later: use VS Code (also from Microsoft) :)

On my Mac after pressing shift+command+P and typing >go Install .. nothing comes up for install/update like you show in your video so how do the extensions get install into my go subfolders (pkg,bin,src)?

how and where did he create the demo folder? his terminal just says "demo" but mine says the whole path where i created the folder. also, i get this error when i enter "go run main.go": main.go:1:1: expected 'package', found 'EOF'
