This is amazing. I just ordered an Amazon Fire Phone running an older OS based on Android 4.3. This method, with slightly older versions of some of the programs, worked with only a little startup hassle. Now I have a cool older Amazon phone with access to the Play Store AND the Amazon App Store.

Not having the Play Store was one of the biggest reasons that phone failed back when it was released, and that problem has been completely erased.

For some reason when I try to install the apk files (in order) it says "there was a problem parsing the package" this happens with every single one but the framework.

I followed all the steps and it downloaded fine. I have tried to use some apps to change my icons like myicon, x icon and widget magic free versions but the ads fail to load to let me use the themes. Any ideas why?
