Just in case you don't happen to have any quest items, like me.
Overall a little neat strat.

Too bad most events don't award any wisps, half the maps have no refresh orbs or have no trials of wisps.

For those that don't have quests left. Do a couple Kirac "Heist" missions and you will have 4 contracts.

My tip would be stop! wait for all your buffs, spells, effects to finish so its dead silent, and listen, move around and listen carefully you will often hear the white balls before you see them and occasionally hear the rining of the event coloured balls.

I've been doing every side quest since Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar.

i've been using this, and it actually helps a lot, just using portal is crap when you see like 3 icons and can pinpoint the location of the fourth visually, now I get 3-4 quite often

How come quest items are dropable tho? I remember people struggling they cant get rid off heist contracts in their inventory. Did they change that?:)

so i take it you have to backtrack and pick up your quest items every time. worth trying, but i'll also try out the portal tech people have mentioned in the comments.

It's sort of sad people engineer all the fun and wonder out of video games.

Drop a portal at the first non npc you find. By the time you find a second event you can use the portal and your location to guess where you are on the diamond.

This strat is especially powerful for all the stoners out there

Jeez, I am just gona change my heist markers loot filter to show beams and use them instead.

well with the last patch they remove all mobs once the portal opens, so you have to clear the events propperly or the mobs just despawn and you got nothing out of it

Can you set the filter to show another item the same as the quest items?
