Yes I would love a video on renters insurance! We live aboard and I haven't figured out how to even qualify for it

Curious how you manage security on your boat when your at anchor and need to travel ashore?

Thank you for this video, especially as I am planning to buy my first catamaran and to be candid, I’m scared! I did think of a further way you could save money as an off grid vessel which I am also considering. Have you thought about installing an electric motor that could power off your solar? During my research I discovered you can cruise at up to 3 knots on pure electric. When you need speed you switch to fuel, it’s a hybrid system. I do have some other questions for you. Would it be ok to send them to you? Thanks again. Sincerely, Marcas

Is it possible to buy
A thick metal plate and a 5 gallon steel barrel and put the plate down with maybe even cloth under the plate and then the barrel on top and burn you trash daily to where it never really gets that hot and you could empty the ash daily? I know you can’t burn a full bag of trash but what if you only burned paper products and then bagged only plastics? I am planning on leaving life on land behind in 3 years so just trying to learn all I can. The reason I belive this is possible is that there are literally grills on boats that hang off the side, so what if someone put two grills on the side of the boat , one for trash and one for food?

Is this possible without being independently wealthy? I've seen several variations of this style of video and that question is never answered in the videos. How does one get income while living this way?

Well ok , thanks for your information . ( Nice people and videos) But buying the boat is a big cost on a budget , and both your incomes to cover your expenses. There is a skill in YT video making , but I have no idea of the rewards. Anyways thank you and look forward to future adventures.

The word is REDUNDANCY . Carry extra starter and solenoid. Always. Sometimes you need it right now!
Fuses and duct tape and boaters caulk.
Punch a hole and slap it on with a trash bag so you don't sink. Cannot see all dead heads floating around at night ,especially after a storm close to shore.

Not sure if you know the answer or not but regarding health insurance at sea, is it possible to keep your medicaid especially if you intend on only getting treated in the US? My husband has a rare heart condition and there's no way we'd be able to pay medical bills with regular/private insurance. If that means we can't go certain places thats fine but it would be a bummer if thats the reason we decide not to sail.

$2800 a month is not ANY budget. One can live a very good life in many countries on land for far less than that. When I used to travel around the world using a car or public transport my budget was about $1500-2000. Living on a boat is definitively not for the average people:) Nice and informative video though.

"You can do this on any budget" No, you can't. Not when you add up the expenses. Do a budget for someone on just $12K/yr. Living in a small midwest town is much less expensive.

20 minutes... To tell us it's basically $100 a day.
Just say that... It'll cost you around $100 a day to cruise. You made a real easy equation pretty difficult. Thanks for wasting my time..

So when u decided to live on boat, did you fear (or do you Still fear) for some unfortunate events. Like if indian sailors crosses to pakistani territories, they will he caught and prisoned, or Like getting caught by pirates (near gulf), are there security issues you faced so far?

I can appreciate budget living but how does someone who does have the luxury of working on your boat afford it? It seems like someone who has to get up and go to work would never be able to afford this lifestyle
