Why nobody design the canopy structure without no any sharp metal and plastic edges? I used to use and try many canopies, but even very expensive, ridig ones are not designed that way. For a street marketer do not have time and patient to slowly and carefully open and close, when they do it EVERY DAY!!!
For me as an engineer pop-up whould mean: POP-UP and not slowly and carefully opening. It is possible to design and produce a canopy with well designed joints that will never gonna tear the PVC canvas.

Well, I saw this video, followed YOUR steps perfectly BUT you forgot to mention four straps that are locked to the frame, so when I collapsed it, the canopy ripped in four places! THANKS A LOT! Can't wait to explain why I didn't wait for my wife who will remind me she would have seen those straps.
