imagine you're an artist and you just sit on your desk thinking about these and sketching roughly every idea you get that would be extra fun!

I have know idea why I watched this I have no aspiration to be a writher , cool video tho

I have everything planned in my mind, the story, characters and how it goes. The big issue is putting it down in a book or drawing it in a picture as those are skills you develop over a long period of time.

This was by far the most succinctly perfect video to get me started on extended thoughts for my world. Thanks so much for this.

Why do we need to congruent baseline for a story? We were told to build concept upon concepts, for what? Ideally, it should serve as a guide as you go through your story. It should serve you, not you ending as a servant to it. The stakes are higher if you seek to publish your story codependently. Still, step back and remember, as you have possibly been a reader too, you felt joy reading. The same joy you initially had as you wrote. It would feel like a job the more serious you get about it. Hours spent with nothing much to show but more to work on. Still, continue. Pursue for more. Let the raw ideas flow. You can always get back to it for improvement. What you can't do is lose the desire to write. Love the innate version of your writing. That way it could go on. I did this as a challenge for myself but sounds more like a letter for me.

My friends and I imagined up our own world that included us as characters, roleplayed events and devised stories. And now, a few years later, I am soon to publish the first novel set in that complicated, intricate worldbuilding and storytelling we did and still do.

Seriously. Put some spoiler alert. I just started reading lor a few days ago and I just didn't expect this video to give away the spoilers on Gandalf. A big thumbs down.

i think about my world at night when I'm laying in bed, then I forget about 70% the next morning and start over every night and they're all based on the same thing, but I dream slightly different worlds every night. I don't know how people don't think up stories to keep themselves entertained, what do they think about instead?

Just write your world using a dissecation of the Hundred Acre Wood: what is this place, what does it look like and who lives there? Making a map with the locations that are important to the story may help a lot. I mean, almost all Winnie the Pooh books feature, not only the common illustrations, but also map drawings of that place, like the characters' houses. Thank you A. A. Are the napkins like a reference of jk writing on receipts or something like that?

When it comes to my half-dystopian supernatural world, it was designed for multiple different stories.

Which is very convinient for me as I can stick to the same rules while exploring and adding things that couldnt be seen by other stories!

But that means that some ocs of mine have the chance to meet the ocs that I never imagined they could lmao-
(Given the place, time and situation spesifically.)

And Ive now got to the habit of my brain automatically finding ways for new characters and lore to connect to my world somehow haha!

(But if that character and lore doesnt make sense to be in the same universe, I typically make it a fiction within fiction. Like as a fictional movie, show, book, comic or any related media within my world.)

My fictional world so far:

In this world, the world is split into multiple territories. The territories are parts of land that are fought over and taken accordingly.
In this story our main setting shall be the territory of Awe. In Awe there are five kingdoms.

Zoto the main wealthiest kingdom, this kingdom specializes in magic. This kingdom is also the main capital, with only the finest riches and lands of them all.

The second kingdom is called Makaliah (Mah-aka-Lee-Ahh) this kingdom specializes in the art of weaponry they are weoponologists and a middle class kingdom.

The third is called Springalia they specialize in medicine, they are very good pharmacists. They, like Makaliah, are middle class. Housing many nobles and magicless peaceful people.

The fourth, Manoki (Man-oh-kee) specializes in taming animals. A few of these people use magic, though is very rare. These people live in poverty

The fifth and last kingdom is called Arbala (Arr-Bahh-La) not much is known about Arbala but what they do know is that it is a land that is in poverty. This land, Arbala, is referred to as the forbidden land. Anyone who steps onto the land will be killed, by what is the question.

Extra notes:

The four main types of magic include water, fire, wind, and earth. From these four elements came endless possibilities. For example from water came the ability to control and summon ice and snow.

I’m the territory of Awe the Hierarchy is like this
Royals at the top, nobles, priests, knights, officers, pharmacists, commoners, peasants, and lastly slaves.

In Awe mainly humans inhabit it.

A folktale about the Forbidden land goes like this;

Once long ago before our ancestors had gotten our territory they signed a pact with creatures like none other. They beloved these creatures could help them gain the needed territory from the rival territory called Light. According to the story the creatures betrayed us, and so to punish them for there sins we banished them to what is now the forbidden land. The land is a wasteland hardly any plants grow and monstrous beasts roam freely. If anyone was to enter the land they would become cursed and turn into the horrible creatures and killed. Though no body knows whether this is true or not anyone who decided to go there to find out for themselves never returned. What really happened?

I love the world building capacity of human brain. Such well written sagas (such as HP, LOTR, The song of ice and fire, Throne of Glass) gives me experience of living in multiverse.
