Hi everyone! I tried to install bpytop on my Ubuntu Server via snap and I ran into a permissions error. If you run into this using the snap package run the following commands:
sudo snap connect bpytop:mount-observe
sudo snap connect bpytop:network-control
sudo snap connect bpytop:hardware-observe
sudo snap connect bpytop:system-observe
sudo snap connect bpytop:process-control
sudo snap connect bpytop:physical-memory-observe
@TechHut I really like to use bottom as my terminal-system monitor, however, I've ran into issues with bottom on older hardware (it doesn't know what ddr2 is) I'm also a fan of atop, to keep an eye on network usage
ОтветитьI like bpytop but why is the display of cpu temp and percentage cut off? I'am running kubuntu 22.04 LTS.
ОтветитьThanks for this. It is like WOW. I call it Best Program Yet Top (bpytop).
Ответитьbeen using glances for a while now... bpytop is beautiful though... however I don't seem to get temps on my cpu or anything for that matter... not sure what i need to install. currently on Linux KDE EndeavourOS
Ответитьthat obs is consuming 200% plus of cpu. what in the bloody fk haha
ОтветитьHow do we make it transparent h-top
ОтветитьGood video.
Ответитьhow different is this compared to ytop which is written in rust
ОтветитьBut how do they look over SSH? 🤔 😂
ОтветитьIs there a solution to have this monitoring on a web page, so I could open it on a browser?
Ответитьvery cool !! thank you.
ОтветитьBashtop rewritten in python
ОтветитьМолодец! Опять, что то интересное подкинул.
ОтветитьBpytop is beautiful but bmon & gping for your networking is on point and shouldn't be forgotten also!
ОтветитьNice.
Ответитьbottom is the best Terminal System Monitors. It is written in Rust, so it is fast and secure. In addition, it uses the vim keys. That is, perfect.
Ответитьany cli util to monitor crypto prices?
Ответитьbpytop is very similar to bashtop. Very similar.
Ответитьseems to me like htop can do what glances does already. Try hitting F2 in htop and check out the options :)
ОтветитьThanks to you. Now I know bpytop :))
ОтветитьDid not watch the other posting. My preference is bashtop, looks the same as bpytop. Thanks for posting.
ОтветитьPls cut your beard
ОтветитьI still like htop more 🙂
ОтветитьCool video. Can you show us how to set up a keyboard shortcut for adjusting volume in XFCE?
ОтветитьBpytop is just like bashtop except the by core percentage/temp isn't bugged :)
ОтветитьBpytop looks amazing
ОтветитьI thought that's a new person who joined your team... Amazing beard style
ОтветитьHey, what is this? You shaved your moustache! You're looking like a muslim guy
(If these words hurt you, I'm sorry...)
Why did you actually switched to arco linux from Manjaro and using Cinnamon instead of KDE is it because of any problem with Manjaro or KDE ? BTW Nice beard style 🤣️
ОтветитьIs there something like HWInfo64? GPU RPM is broken for example under free drivers (AMD)
ОтветитьHello,
Because of you and NetworkChuck I change to Linux before year, but I have some difficulties, because of which I still use Windows 10 on my work laptop.
May I ask you for new top 10 programs for Linux, but the software theme for engineers like CAD, SolidWorks, NetSpot, cable testers or something useful for better, easy and free work :D
For Windows have so much free software similar to AutoCAD or SolidWorks, but not working in Linux. For the second part in my work I need software for test Wifi signals in different directions, power, cables like Coax, LAN or optics. For testing I have some old software from Windows ME, but they work just fine on Windows 10.
What difference between bashtop?
ОтветитьI love bpytop, but how did you remove the screen recording tearing in arco Linux cinnamon? As by default the screen tears...
Ответитьhtop also gives cpu temps
Ответитьawesome
ОтветитьIs bpytop a fork of bashtop or vice versa?
cos they sure look a like
