7 years earlier, Cap told Tony that the life he wanted went down with him in the ice. Yet when he saw Tony sacrifice his life to save the universe, the man who had everything to live for including a family, he realized it was worth it.

This ending is confusing if captain America went back in time and changed his own furture then everything that he did join the Avengers. Saving new York City. battling hydra. And Ultron. it would never had happened

There are two captain americas in one time line and this one stay hiding and waiting for the perfect time to come out and hand over the shield to Falcon. During the funeral, the past cap is very considerate for not attending the funeral otherwise he’ll meet the other Cap and it will be a disaster. Thanks for the perfect logic, we Marvel fans won’t question it one bit.
