When a manufacturer test 0-60, they run it one direction, and then run again in the opposite direction and take the average of the two. This rules out wind and terrain. They don't just run it downhill 1 time like you did.

It's like a Porsche 911 with a luxury pkg😀.
I never did like Porsche because other than a sports car ride, the interior is so boring.

I absolutely hate these types of touch displays. It looks like the car manufacturers wanted to escape actual quality contoured design, and said "Let's just stick an iPad in the middle!" 🤨

The SL63 isn't a sports car, it's a GT car and a very good one. How fortunate you were to find a road without a pot hole, now the norm in the UK.

Mercedes has truly raised the bar with this AMG monster.

She is talkin' about stoking handles and bulge of the engine hood. The car should sue her for harrasment.

A solid review. Everything covered that needed covering, BUT the door handles comment. Hmmm

Overpriced, 1 year old cars will be half price.

I've never seen one of these in real life going over the speed limit. Always see them going 31 mph in a 45 and wondering why they didn't get lexus LS or something with 4 cylinders.

Imagine this car with the SLS BS engine/gearbox/exhaust on it !

The Merc is a bog std front engined coupe! The Porkas except the 4.0L Boxster Cayman "S" are over engineered modified to death VW Beetles! Be realistic 60years of intense development on the Boxster(initially designed as 2door, 2 Street, soft top sports car! Not only that but it single modeledly save Porsche from certain extinction!

Terrible review. Bring back pretty much anyone.

It's a good looking car with a nice engine and solid build quality but it's not worth the money.

The Porsche is fast but it looks like a flat VW Beetle. Merc any day.

AMG depreciation is horrific for the original buyer.

Nice review, just to get in to the Category of the 911 turbo is special enough.

911 cab turbo is 2:5 (not 2:9) sec to 60 and the lightweight is 2:1 sec. The 911 turbo completely out classes this car,especially for the price.

The SL is likely a better GT car than the 911. The V8 is also an appealing factor. For the price however, a cabrio GTS is ultimatly a sharper, more focused experience.

The tacked-on iPad in the middle is annoying. These things need to be integrated far better.

Mercedes took "bar of soap" design a little too much to heart. Not at all attractive.

Price is way too high. Turbo s destroys it as a sports car, bentley continental destroys it as a class GT.

Porsche is overrated and Mercedes will always be the best.
