The Last of Us Part 1 (PS5 Remake) - Ending Scene (4K 60FPS)

What a monster dude.

Bruh i just finished this for the first time, never played the original or remaster, only the remake "Last of us part 1" and oh man. I had immense chills the whole ending, and i still have them while writing this and listening to the credits. Unbeliveable. The location, the music, the relaxed setting and the fact Joel just completely lies to Ellie is heartbreaking. I know she would hate him, but man. Joel kills multiple fireflies, kills Marlene and then proceeds to completely lie to Ellie about the cure. Saying theres more than dozens of people with the same immune as Ellie and they stopped finding the cure, while thats already a depressing lie to tell Ellie, Joel has to go through his last years with that secret in him, knowing he probably prevented multiple people from getting cured. I cant believe it, such a bittersweet ending. And then Ellie telling Joel to swear that everything he told about the fireflies is true, Joel then going ahead and saying "I swear" and Ellie just saying "Okay". And then it cuts to credits, depressing. If anyone played the original right when it came out, how depressed were you lol? I cant imagine not having the DLC OR the part 2 game to look forward to right when finishing the last of us 1 story.

The only thing i dislike is how the alarms arent turned down when joel is carrying ellie. In the remaster you could hear him say "we're ok we're ok" but it gets drowned out by the sound here

Knowing what happened in part 2 makes it somehow more emotional than it already was. (How their relationship evolved in between the 2 games)

I was waiting for the score in the end

Last scene was a masterpiece in writing , setting, acting and cinematography .

While alot of important scenes in the series where almost word to word from the game they just didnt hit as hard in the series. Im not saying th acting was in any way bad but there was always just something about the emotion in the delivery that made the same scenes just not have the same impact

The show is fantastic but if there was one scene where they HAD to play this music, it was when he picked up Ellie and carried her out. And they didn’t. Bummer.

Troy Baker's voice acting is PERFECTION in this game.

Loved the last episode but this scene was a little to fast the way she was talking in the show it’s like damn breathe a little

I dont know if it was the direction or pedro, but the tv show version of Joel had a lot less emotion to him. Less desperation, less disdain in his voice when telling Marlene she'd "just come after her". Pedro's a great actor, I just wish they did it more like the game. But i guess you can say that for a decent amount of the show

Everyone saying the game didn’t deserve a sequel clearly only cared for Joel’s story and not Ellie’s 🤷🏾‍♂️

Man. The way the soundtrack picks up as her heart breaks is incredible

a fun fact it the ending is just like the opening it started with SARAH & you played as SARAH & then in the ending we played as ELLIE & it ends as ELLIE & both says to joel "okay" i know you confused about SARAH saying "okay" it happens when joel shot the security guard i think his name is jim then instruct SARAH & then she says okay same here in ending he is giving instruction to ELLIE & she also says "okay" meaning they officially become father & daughter.
