Stay away from this company if you don't want to lose your money!
They have blocked my account for no reason for 15 days with funds of £1500 in it. They guaranteed me that the review of my account being blocked would take only 15 days, but I can't use my money, can't withdraw or transfer or have any money transferred to me. Because of this, I've lost over £6000 more on top of the £1500 they already blocked and stole from me. This company guys is a huge scam and they always send you back to the terms and conditions of the app, ignoring basic questions like "Why did you block my account?" Basically, they refused to tell me even up to today, why they have blocked my account, my funds etc
In fact, it turns out now that it's 30 days already of me waiting and still no sign from them how long will take to get my money back and why did they block my account.
Not to say that they don't have a phone number where a human being will answer the phone and talk to you but they only have a robot talking and not even understanding my issues. They have the worst live chat ever where you have to wait like 24 hours for an answer or more for them to reply back to you and even when they do that they avoid answering my questions and send you a generic message without any relevance whatsoever to what I was saying or asking in the chat.
Your money is not safe at all. Literally, they will block your account for no reason and take your money for an indefinite period of time. Another huge issue with this scam company called REVOLUT is that, say, a company will send you money, but their accountant will by mistake flag that sent payment/money to your Revolut account as fraud, so what do you think Revolut will do? well, let me tell you, they will immediately block your account take your money and put your account under review while the company that paid you, will get that money back to them without any explanation at all or any type of review. I know this, because the accountant who flagged that payment to me as fraud, did it by mistake even though that accountant from that company, literally begged REVOLUTE to make the payment to me because that was a false alarm and they flagged the payment by mistake as fraud, REVOLUTE totally ignores it, even though the person who flagged the payment as fraud by mistake asks tells them several times that it was by mistake and they have to give me the money back, while revolute ignore any messages either from me or from that company accountant. REVOLUTION is the biggest mistake I've ever made to signup with them, literally, they are like Paypal, another scam company where as well as PayPal, anyone can send you money for a service, then after you provide the service, that very same person can make a call back payment based on a fictive reason or otherwise on a false made up experience. Now I am at my wits end! and decided to file a police report plus sue this company for stealing my money. I am taking this further and will be reporting them to the authorities and seeking legal advice. This SCAM company REVOLUT need to be closed down and banned from trading.
The service is utterly diabolical, not fit for purpose, hugely expensive, diabolically poor service, unreliable and they have compromised my income, business and business reputation with their incompetence. They are completely unprofessional.
My advice - STEER WELL CLEAR OF THEM.

ОтветитьUseless video. One person had an issue with a debit cad being stolen which you can quickly freeze btw. I never had issues with revolut, but I am cautious and therefore watched the video. This is also a testament on how authorities are not able to helping these situations and we send much much more money to them in form of taxes to do their job.

Ответитьi just face to blocked account, i was customer for 6 years and fraud system blocked me, cant get money out, support blocked me on chat, i regret that i even putted money there, its not safe, even when they should return the money, its may take couple of months with a lot of filled complaints form..
ОтветитьYou guys are missing it. They didnt have access to her account they had access to her debit details. They then would used her details to purchase untraceable crypto currency on binance/kraken effectively cleaning her money. Its money laundering not a targeted scam. Be careful where you put your details, not who those details are with. Revolut is as safe as the idiot who uses it

My card was stolen and the fraudelent person commit up to €500 wireless transcaction and all my Revolut chargeback are all invalid because due to Visa regulations and guidelines. They are refusing to give more information as why this is the result. Can you help and write an article about my case? I can provide all relevant information about my case.

ОтветитьI signed up for revolut recently and they needed a tiny amount to send me a physical card. So l transferred a small amount from a bank account for which l had to insert the details of that bank card. Assuming that is safe to do, otherwise how else do you transfer a small amount to them? Secondly upon registration they ask for a photo of my passport and a selfie security video, it seemed strange. Is all this normal when joining them?

Ответитьnot safe at all. I never received money I transferred into my bank, they won't explain why, say when I'll get it or help me in any way, leaving me in a precarious financial position. Avoid using them at all costs. If you've a problem, they're a complete disaster.

Just discovered your channel mainly by stumbling over the REVOLUT bad incident story.
Have been using REVOLUT for about 3 years now, but only for EUR, as I use Monese for UK Pounds. I'm British but don't live in UK or EU -- I escaped 29 years ago and am very grateful more and more these days that I did.
And this brings me to my main question for you Dominic. We all know that Govts, with the Banks are tightening the noose day by day. Well having been a 'Bank Hater' for many years, I try not to use them and have embraced the FINTECH world from WISE to REVOLUT and from MONESE to N26. Yes, I do know that the Governments and all the other 'elites' are following me and that there is no REAL escape from their 'Manipulation' and dare I say it 'Machinations' ..................... so what is the answer?
Furthermore, we know that the next step in their control of OUR financial independence, or should I say curtailment of our financial independence is a CBDC and for which, I shall resist until I am pushing up the daisies.
So Mr 'Money Markets and More' .... Mr 'Finance expert' please tell me how to keep my money away from all these Ali Babas!!
As far as I’m aware, Revolut vaults are FSCS protected and if you’re going to hold money in Revolut then vaults are the only way. Their main account isn’t protected and for some reason your friend must’ve not realised this and loaded it up. For me, Revolut is only a place to put small amounts of money to be spent on holiday.

Companies, servies, shops and banks should stop with using/accepting debit/creditcards and just use bank accounts with every payment that needs to be authorized with an app (accept for services you pay monthly automatically). Loads of problems solved and less stress.
Here in the Netherlands we mostly use Maestro where you will need a 4 digit code (pincode) with a physical card or pay with the phone that only requires the bank app 5 digit code or a fingerprint if you go over 50 euro's (in a day). Online payments are done with iDeal payment where you get a QR code when you need to pay and you scan that code with the bank app on you're phone that also requires a 5 digit code.
Debit cards are always seen by traditional brick and mortar banks in the UK as the same as using cash. If money is taken, they don’t feel obliged to refund it. If they do, good. As a new user to Revolut, I had done the research beforehand as I knew nothing about them - other than they were set up as an alternative to a traditional bank following the financial crash in 2008. I have heard various stories where accounts with high values are frozen and people are unable to get their money out. My experience of them so far, with much little money, is that it is a game changer for what I need at my level in the world. But like anything else ‘new’ or unregulated, esp with cryptocurrency which I am starting to show an interest in, you treat it with a certain element of intelligence and extreme caution.

ОтветитьThey are VERY dangerous , and she was robbed and unlucky, BUT AWFUL lucky to get HOLD a Rep at all to talk to , here in Ireland they now have a Banking licence in Ireland , I only have 400 in there and it is near impossible to retrieve it , I get bot upon bot that keeps sending me around in circles forget the EU 😎another bunch of crooks . The convience is they can pretend and hold off customers one of these days they will play the long stall on all customers and some computer whiz kids will sail off into the Sunset .I hope I am totally wrong , but I have a feeling Revolut is one of the next big grab billions grab online and who's going to bail them out I wonder.

ОтветитьAfter using Revolut for a few months, they begin to randomly freeze my account for review. Although all my incomes are legal with supporting documents, they decided to review my account again on March 2nd. Support team said the review will be done after 3 weeks. Apparently the review team is doing nothing during this period because no one has ask me any questions nor let me know about the progress. Now, I am in a big trouble because I don't have money to pay for my rent and bills. Everybody should think again before using this so called bank.

If the former, then the scammers would have to know that there was a package for her, if the latter then the Post Office is even less trustworthy than I thought.
Did they find out who the postman was?

Use a Credit card.
Spend the bank's money, pay them back and get points. Never had an issue getting money back from credit card fraud.
i had a Revolut card and tried it out, i was not impressed had trouble using the card, only had £100 in the account so withdrew it out and called it a day. may be i was unlucky !!
