Gear honing is such a troll system. My alts have stronghold bonuses but have to hone 4x per skillup for 14-15. This is just an egregiously bad waste of mats. People say this game respects your time, but it literally just destroys a majority of what you work for. EVERYHTHING taxes your gold, silver, or materials. The honing system is designed to where you always get bottlenecked and stuck at the end of a tier.

66-70%+ chance means 100%fail and 50%+ means 100% fail too. 9 tries 9 fails for me 100% deinstall.😉

Should I hone 302 gear?
Is 302 gear the gear I'm supposed to hone in order to move on? Or will I get better gear soon so I should wait?
Should I try and get gear with specific stats before I chose to hone it?
What specific gear should I focus on first? Weapons? Necks?
These are the questions new players, like myself, are wondering about.

I’ve got a question as I just unlocked honing 302 gear. Does it matter right now for the quality level of the gear that is being upgraded? Like I have a chest that’s a 93 rating, but my shoulders that are the highest quality are like 40. Should I wait to hone a gear that has a better quality that I get or don’t worry about it right now?
