MOST common use of this is to CLONE the BOOT Drive . Ok . Most common use of THAT process is to UPGRADE , ARCHIVE or REPLACE the Boot drive . WHY do the folks making these vids NOT show the most LIKELY scenario - making ONE larger volume on the target drive from a smaller SOURCE drive ? Its always "you can do that later" or we'll do something SIMPLER here today instead ?
Ответитьwhat if I clone ssd install to an ssd of the same size? is there a problem? (moving my boot drive to an ssd with DRAM cache)

ОтветитьGreat tutorial man! Worked perfectly for me...except my failing hard drive would only boot up when it felt like it, so I got stuck when I had to restart to get the wizard going lol. I reseated the SATA connections, and it booted up right and the wizard started like it was supposed to!
ОтветитьNot a free program.
ОтветитьNo more music, please.

ОтветитьIt made my pc unusuable, thanks 🎉❤
ОтветитьWhen I clicked restart it didn't clone the disk but I just used another computer and worked like a charm. I mainly need the software I couldn't find one that would clone for free. It used to be easy but when everyone started upgrading to ssds the software companies saw a way to make money and started charging for that feature.
ОтветитьPlease how can I download the application for cloning please
ОтветитьI love what you are teaching.. Keep it up
ОтветитьThank you! Very easy indeed!

ОтветитьPlease will all my data on my old hard drive be lost?

ОтветитьIs it normal before even cloning for the ssd to get hot as it's connected to the m2 usb adapter and connected to the computer ?
ОтветитьSimilar problem like user-tn6wo1th8l : Trying to clone a 500GB HD to 1To SSD : MiniTool refuses to proceed "Size of target and source disk differ. As you suggested previously I created NFTS sectors exactely like the source disk. Of corse the non-allocated space still show up. But the problem persists, MiniTool won't clone the disk - still complaining about different size of disk (the non-allocated space won't disappeare)
Any hints ?
windows 10 get deactivated. how to resolve? does windows 10 detect ssd serial number changes and how to rectify it?
ОтветитьMy computer is reading both versions as Malware....

ОтветитьI have installed Win7 and Win10 on the SAME SSD. How could I do then? Would the Minitool operation damage the original SSD or cause some unstable consequences?? Thanks!

ОтветитьCan I upgrade from a 1TB HDD to a 1TB SSD? My Dell 14z N411z says 0 hard drive when I run the diagnostics and Belarc Advisor states I have A 1TB HDD. I'm attempting to make my laptop work instead of buying a new one. Right now it doesn't boot right and is super slow. Thank you for your help.
ОтветитьBut if you migrate the old disk to another SSD that is really new. Will you need to initialize or "format" the target disk before the process of cloning or not...?
ОтветитьWhat does the d drive do ?
ОтветитьHard to understand, speaks to fast and words are not clear. Sorry dont mean to hate but maybe Im getting to old.
ОтветитьWhy didn't partition starts? When I restart it not finishing the counting to start the partition its always boot my ssd that im cloning, plss help me!!!
ОтветитьThis is great and straight to point. However please I need assistance. I used this method exactly and changed HDD of two laptops to SSD. All running fine, but none of them opens any external hard disc. I have tried 3 of my external hard disc in each of them and none opened. These same external hard discs open in other computers. Pls any solution from anyone who may have encountered such? Thanks
ОтветитьHas anyone tried this lately? Because I don't get the clone icon I see on the video. Instead I get a webpage selling me paid versions of the software.
ОтветитьFAIL I did this with my WD blue 1 TB and cloned to a Crucial 1TB SSD everything worked but when I tried to reset my PC it couldnt find the recovery environment.
SO ITS A FAIL FROM ME!
The process of cloning is like copying and pasting or cutting and pasting ??
ОтветитьYeah, not easy when you are blind and cant' read any dialog box that uses a white background with black text on it.
I need a Dark themed program like Ghost that booted off a floppy.
Nope, everyone is using Windows 7 out here.
ОтветитьThank you very much, you saved me time and money with this video. I have subscribed.
Ответитьit is saying disc configuration is changed even though the target disk is larger than my old disk

ОтветитьGENIUS
ОтветитьI have problem i think i do it wrong. I havd 500gb sata but i only got 232gb i dont where is the other half. Local D cannot be access.
Do i need to clone again?
Thank you for the guide. I tried doing this for my hard drive that's about to fail and has some bad sectors. During cloning, on the windows OS drive partition, it stated "failed to read disk. Error 23" from 80% to 100% . The Ubuntu partition cloning was fine, the bios can detect it and it boots but the windows partition/boot order isn't showing up in BIOS. How should I proceed? 🤧. The SSD is Samsung 870 Evo. 😭
ОтветитьHi
I have couple of very important questions.
1. Will this process clone all the softwares and applications e.g, business software like POS and Microsoft SQL? Will it not affect their workability?
2. Also will this process erase the original (source) disk? If not, will it continue to work like before?
Awaiting your response to start my migration process.
Thanks in advance.
