ОтветитьMy question is what value are the exercises in the first half of the video if the objective is osteoporosis therapy?
Simply walking forwards and backwards might be desirable for very sedentary people to just move, but does nothing to improve the formation and reformation of bone mass. My understanding is that bone formation requires impact and load bearing which are byprducts of the later suggested exercises that involve stairs, resistance bands and although I don't see in any of your exercises, low impact exercises.
AFAIK things like balance and aerobic exercises have limited to no value in building bone mass. They may be important for daily and nomral activities and for general health, but probably are not going to improve the resiliency and strength of bone.
That is, unless someone can point out the failure of my understanding.
Are these exersices safe for me? Recently had Lumbar Decompression in L3L4, L4L5, 5 weeks ago. I was newly diagnosed with osteoporosis left neck femur and osteopenia lumbar area?
