How to Use an External Microphone on Android Phone with 3.5mm Headphone Jack

Great video thank you. If anyone out there can help me I would truly appreciate it. I have galaxy s10 4 g and would like to use the camera on the phone yo record a live stream of myself mixing music on a pioneer ddj s1 controller with left and right aux master outputs. I wish to come out of the pioneer aux rca outputs left and right into a splitter, which goes from two rca cables into a 3.5 mini plug. From 3.5 to the 3.5 headphone input on the s10. Can I record a video but mute the phone mic but have the music being played live on the pioneer be recorded or live stramed. Or will one these cables on this video work. The pioneer also has a mic on it but I want the output of the pioneer to be video recorded audio. Thank you

Hi there, when it comes to the other hole on the adpater cable, if you plug in a headphones into the headset hole, would you be able to listen to the live audio being recorded from the mic?

I have Røde mics. Great recording quality, but they stop my bluetooth headphone. So I need to disconnect to hear sound. It is driving me insane. It's easy on my computer, as it allows to select mic and audio seperatly!

Every one of these videos is identical. It does not give us a loosen to my needs. I have an Android tablet that I use as a phone. Basically it is always in speakerphone function when I use it for phone conversations. The microphone is not very good in the tablet so I want to plug in an external mic but when I do that, it shuts off my audio and I won't be able to hear the other person talking to me. Is there any kind of external microphone I can plug into my tablet where it does not shut off my audio? I need to be able to hear who I'm talking with. I am simply trying to increase the quality of the audio for the person who is listening to me. That is why I am wanting to use an external microphone. Any suggestions?

But you didn't say what the adapter cable is called. I have no idea how to search for it if I don't know what it's called.

Hello, I bought a TRS to TRRS adapter and my phone is still registering the device as a headphone. Do you have any idea what may be the issue? I've tried updating the phone and so far it's to no avail.

I also just tried updating the phone and using a new app but now it won't even register my device at all. I'm perplexed and no amount of videos I've searched have gone over my specific issue.

if only mic is plugged in headset splitter adapter and then we make some video/audio call (zoom , teams or duo) then does it take audio-in from mic and audio-out from phone speaker ?

What about a wireless mic setup? How would you do this. I tried setting it up on my A8 with a transmitter and receiver (Sennheiser brand) but the phone wasn't connecting to the devices. I got the adapter cord and used it to try during the attempted set up. The transmitter and receiver were on the same frequency.
