The horror of seeing yellow guy shred the book with red and duck, while we as watchers know they just destroyed every answer that we were seeking is one of the best aspects of the show. It makes sense though.

i really don’t think what the vehicle said about his drink or what the lamp said about what happens after we die - is actually that important or even connected. i think they’re really just jokes. the first one being about fossil fuels and where petrol comes from, making you realise how outlandish it sounds. the second one being a funny spin on a character asking another character about death and latter character has to say something heartfelt and sweet - but the lamp just talks about his weird theory about the afterlife. kind of got annoyed when you criticized both those things as being ‘too obvious’ because they very likely don’t say anything about the dhmis world at all. of course they could and that’s the cool thing about interpretation

I like to imagine that DHMIS is basically an in-universe TV show that started in the 50s but went on for way too long on a floating timeline and has basically become a shell of its former self (kinda like a British Simpsons)

and tell everyone its an arg coment on ducks and wriring thanks.

There better be a fucking explanation for the show. If they never provide a definitive answer that's fine, but only if they provide enough clues and information to allow us to piece it together. If there's one thing I despise, it's shows that make you come up with your own fucking headcanon rather than come up with an intelligent or meaningful ending. I totally get the mystery element, but not if it is literally impossible to solve because no one can agree on their fanfictions of a show that might not mean anything they interpret it to be. Just at least give us enough to know what is happening 50% of the time ffs.

i have a theory of the red guys name, drake. in episode 4 of the web series you can hear wim say "well my name is dr-" and if you look at episode 2 on channel 4 the yellow guy is in another room, meaning they separated so the information of the room in episode 2 on channel four is no use, or his name could be clay becuase he maybe is the clay thing from episode 2 on the show, and in the same episode you can see when drake/clay brushes his teeth you can see the pink things by his mouth

Nobody really talks about this but I love the detail of yellow guy laughing while shredding the book. It almost sounds like he’s crying behind a fake or controlled laugh.

sorry but i cannot see the first series as anything other then what matpat theorized it to be lmao
it just makes so much sense and explains a lot of stuff in the show and different scenes, like when red guy enters the room on another set in the 3rd ep thats all low quality and his head explodes, its not him realizing hes on set, because he already knows that, its him realizing he can create the show at a lower price and without sponsers (like roy)

Being someone who works in a factory, the first episode is so fucking funny to me and another coworker who's also really big into this kind of thing. We quote the episode almost everyday and or everytime he's at my station lol

In completely honest the first half about the first season theory is my favorite theory of all time about it

do you know the gumball episode where they turn into puppets? this is what it reminds me of. the voices too, remind me of the puppets that they used to play with. same with the style, its just like that gumball episode, except more disturbing.
