My HP hates my non-OEM memory upgrade and has reduced the speed of my RAM to punish me for trying to play modern games. Thank you HP for making a simple memory upgrade safe with your XMP limitations. Now I won't blow my face off while trying to play Fallout 4 even though everything in my case is rated for the higher speed RAM. I'd like to personally thank the brilliant zit-faced intern with the unopened case of virginity that came up with this "safety feature".

How would this build fair in Minecraft, which appears to be pretty CPU intensive in its core, but modes can require better GPU?

So i have a hard drive, how do i upgrade to an ssd? Like if i just plug it in, (a 2.5 inch one) what happens? Do i need to transfer my files or will it be faster

One thing to remember with budget builds is it is a lot of times it is an entry level pc gamer. They most likely come from using Xbox one or PS4 and can't afford next gen consoles so anything over 1080p 30fps is an upgrade!

Just built a awesome system cheap as heck! Hp z440 for 68$ with a Xeon 1660 v4, has 16 gb ram, threw in a ssd and an 8 gb rx580 175$ total runs cod at 115 fps

Yes I love these it takes me back to the good ole days when I would cobble together a PC and My friends would laugh at me until they realized my PC was running games just fine at about 1/4 the price of their computers, and I was still owning them at the actual game cause you cant buy skill.

Got the z600 with double x5570 casually chilled by custom noctua coolers 24gb non ecc and gtx1070 and plexiglass side panel

150 for the pc 250 for the 1070 (new 2019) and 60 buck for 24 gb ddr3

I would really like to make a budget pc like this, i live in Colombia and things can get really expensive so, i would like to know how do i pick the right components and hardware to build a pc like this? I dont want to buy sometime just to get hardware compatibility issues later on, im very new to this concept of building pc's and i''ve been thinking a lot of building one that's just ok to play games like dmc 5, sekiro, elden ring (probably this one is to ambicious for a pc like this), etc.

This is a very good approach to make feel the hardware market .
a very refreshing format versus the all wistle n bellz or fails .

You need a lot of knowledge to build this computer. Knowledge = money, this computer would be worth more than $400 instead.

I cannot express how much I am grateful for this video. The format of showing small continuous upgrades really helps. My old PC broke, and I was doing fine with my budget laptop for web browsing and schoolwork, until I started to want to play my PC games again. I can convince my parents to contribute money to revivng and upgrading my old PC. I can work with the engineering teacher at my school during office hours and my dad who is an aerospace engineer with a P.H.D. in mechinical engineering a bit, because while I may be more technically inclined than some people, I am not a god. I have little to no electrical knowledge.

I just fucking hate old pc,they always have problems while upgrading,something missing, lot of hardware issues,cable issues,it doesn't turn on or it turns on/off on cycle and so much on, it's way to fucking annoying, it's always better to build pc with new parts from scratch, especially buying new psu,case and motherboard is what i recommend,you can get used gpu,cpu and ram without problem

At that point its best just getting a pre-owned or refurbished xbox series s as it would have better fps and and can be used as a pc too.

I'm running almost anything on my Z800 with a 1060 and 860 evo ssd. Now I am running into some issues sometimes, like I can't launch Alan Wake 2 for instance... Would it be possible to just upgrade the whole motherboard and throw in an AMD Ryzen cpu and upgrade to ddr5 ram? + ofc adding a new Radeon video card.
