The 12th Gen F150 is hands down the best (non-diesel) used truck under $20k. ONLY IF YOU specifically get the V8 (5.0 coyote engine) between the years of 2012-2014. I say between these years because earlier models of the 12th gen had issues with head gaskets and timing chain tensioner. By 2012 Ford saw this and upgraded to higher quality OEM tensioners (as well as the chain) and the gaskets.

Just because certain manufacturers sell more trucks than others, your review left out common problems (some quite expen$I've) which plague certain model years.

Spark plugs breaking, oil consumption, timing cassettes, electrical issues, random engine stopping are all too common in your featured selections.
