My interest in 40K started when my teacher caught me doodling a Mark IV from WW1 during class after I finished the work. He told me that he knew about a tank like that and that I should look up “Warhammer 40K” when I got home. That was years ago and I still remember how the Leman Russ was the closest thing I could find to a Mark IV. I now know too much 40K lore. I don’t know 58x(19y^7+2z)>39*628 but I do know the Horus Heresy and the story of Krieg.

Death korps are easily the coolest group in 40k

The trench is too wide, far too shallow and the soldiers stick their damn heads out of it - in fact, they even stick their heads out while under fire. Also, everyone is wearing their gas masks, even during the sit-rep - which would make sense if there was constant danger of gas attacks, but then, why is the commissar not wearing one?

The Kriegsman are perhaps the only legion that insists on being deployed to biggest meat grinder battlefields in the galaxy. To them war and carnage is as natural as breathing. Most probably have no concept of life outside of being soldiers.
