I suggest same day but with a 1 hour breaks between part 1-2 and 3-4 and 2/3 hour break between part 2 and 3. At that point it would not really matter which parts come first.. and candidates coming a long way to the exam location can be done in 1 day. Good luck!

In my opinion, taking 3 components of the test in one day is quite exhausting. I suggest listening and reading on a day and then writing and speaking on another.

I think Reading and Writing test should take one day and listing and speaking should take another day. By this, students may take a good exam as well as their pressure should be reduce. Some has a long time sitting problem. Thus those were also be beneficial by physically.

Listening part needs more concentration than any other parts. So I won't appreciate this change. This is a bad decision taken

I haven`t appeared in any IELTS tests yet and don`t really know if the test is given consecutively or not but if it is so, taking a test of 3-4 consecutive hours, I think would resemble a police interrogation more than a test 😅🙏. it is really energy consuming task. I have attended many English Coaching Centers. They used to have two test days, One day for viva and the other for paper test. I think it would be a kind of favor to the participants if IELTS opts that mode.
(My Opinion)

I wrote CD IELTS on the 23rd of August (last week); Listening then Reading then Writing.. Scored L- 8.5, R- 8.5, W- 7.5 and S- 8.. It was just the same as last one I wrote in June 2019, though that was Paper-based. I took the test in Nigeria though.

I think it can have negative effect on students band score . Reading and listening require more concentration as compare to writing so it's difficult to focus on them as last two modules . In my opinion ,previous pattern was good

I believe that it is an excellent changed. I took the test two times, I did not get the required due to the listening score. My problem with the listening that I was not abled to enter quickly the test atmosphere so always the first section which considered the easiest. I hope my country Jordan apply this new pattern.
Thank you madam for your great efforts.

I think this isn't a positive change.
Because when a candidate will take his/her first task like reading or writing before the listening it may be cause to have a bad impact on his listening.
For example if a student will not performed 1st or 2nd task perfectly he/she may get upset and won't be able to fully concentrated in his/her listening task.

Would you answer me of my question.

If someone ask to me would you give me a glass of water. Then I would say .
1. Wait a minute,  I will get it.

And  my second question

(If someone is standing at our main door who is knocking the door )
AND my answer is
I am opening the door.
Instead of I will open the door.
Then my question is, why we use different tenses for both the two same action types sentences.

I mean to say that, why do we not  use the present imperfect continuous for this sentence below?

Wait a minute,  I will get it.

Why do we not write?

I am bringing a glass of water.

Like as

I am opening the door instead of
I will open the door.

Please, give me a suitable example for the both two sentenses.

Football 3-4-3 - 22.08.2022 08:12

The reason behind this change is logical I think, of cours yes many candidates lost band score due to mind exuastion during listenning part and reading part, the reason is almost all candidates had good practices in listening and reading part that is because of the priority of the different parts in pervious exams. After this time, I think most of candidates will lose their band score in listenning because now writting is prioritized that is funny.

I took my IELTS exam on Aug 6 and found you have to wait around 2 hours before the exam starts because of the identification and photograph session of the candidates. I reached the exam center on time and entered the exam hall but had to wait 1 and a half hours inside the hall just staring at the front wall. The waiting time in the exam hall really takes a toll and further adds to the exam nervousness. I believe such a process should be conducted a day before the exam so candidates would not have to wait such a long time in the hall.
