What?!?!? He Spoke's outfit doesn't scream trying too hard. He's wearing and matching his outfit effortlessly. The turtleneck compliments the coat very well. She just seems to want to say something about anything. Where are the videos critiquing her fluffy princess wear? Vanilla, to be sure... nothing sexy or alluring about her own style. It just says uptight, and people just tolerate her.

Almost in every look you suggest to swipe it to something radically different, not what he was aiming for. Like "swipe white jeans to navy chinos, change rugged jacket to wool peacoat, wear brown boots instead of white sneakers and with those "tiny" adjustment's it will look better". WTF😂

You have good style advice and I have liked what I have seen on your channel thus far. However, I also look at and follow all of these guys too. Yes, every guy here would agree that there are items we too might like or dislike with what they each put out as outfits from time to time. What disappoints me with this video is that it feels like a thinly veiled snakey corporate ladder climb. You’ve chosen to pick apart the style choices of your competitors in this space and I think you’ve not chosen in a good 50% of the critiques ‘better’ options but rather acceptable equivalents simply to make it appear as though you know better. To properly show your level of expertise I’m disappointed you have chosen to lower your standards and thus your channel integrity by seeking to climb over your competitors in this fashion.

Stay objective, keep giving the good style advice we recognise you for and most importantly maintain your standards and your integrity and you will retain our respect. I’ll keep watching your space but you’ve let yourself down with this one. Come on Ashley - “You can do better!”

2 problems. 1st, White pants are only good for hot weather and dress casual situations where you can hopefully keep them sorta clean. White pants with a heavy coat and boots, and especially taking a picture tramping around in a cow pasture like that is just stupid in multiple ways. 2nd, forget the narrow ankle high water britches w no socks look. I don’t care how in style it supposedly is you still look like a dork who thinks a model.

The alternatives she gives are so predicable and are so bad. She wants everyone to dress like H&M mannequins. Eww

Also short sleeve button downs look terrible on bigger guys.

All 4 of these channels help provide some great style tips for men. Granted I watch 2 of these channels more than the other 2 but what I notice is they all have some outfits that look sharp and some I wouldn't feel comfortable in. :) Most importantly, they all emphasize fit, fit, and fit...which is what I was lacking the most. Sorry, Ashley but I watch your channel the least. However, I will say that your style advice is probably the one I should follow the most...which is why I need this channels. Thanks for sharing your expertise!

She seems like a nice person but kinda of turned off by her overly nit picky critiques. Not a big fan of women critique in mens fashion. Felt like she kinda disrespected 40 in over. I personally really love his fashion since and think his channel is top tier.

Never heard of tucking in your shoelaces. To me, that would look dorky. P.S. Those plaid pants in the last clip did not work with the model's body. He looks to be on the shorter side and those loud, cheap looking pants drew your attention to that.

brian from hespokestyle dresses really well for the most part. yes, there are times when he could do better. but in general, i think he dresses much better than how you dress your clients. i'd rather take style tips from him.

The style preferences expressed on this channel walk a fine line between simple, yet tasteful and safe and anonymous.

The thing I have to question is the white pants with what appears to be worn with fall or even winter sweaters and coats.

I agree on all the outfits except the second He Spoke Style outfit. As you said, he matched the colors and they just look nice together, also, white jeans are just a clean, sharp choice and work just as well as dark wash jeans would. I do agree though that lace-up boots would be a good choice. All the best, Ashley. Joking aside, for which I found this episode extreme enjoyable. I have to admit, these 3 gentlemen's channels are among the most watched style channels that I get pretty much all my inspiration from, my hats off to all 3 of you and I hope you are all doing well.

Awww, dissapointed that you chose 3 pictures all on the same theme from Hespoke style. He has such great clothing combos and I feel like those few photos don't really represent his true style, especially because those three pics were part of promotional content. :(

He Spoke Style dresses with a great deal of intent and finesse. I agree with most of Ashley's critiques, but I think the white jean/white shearling jacket was sharp AF.
Way too dandy for me, but that in no way makes it wrong or try too hard. I like that Brain is not afraid to push his own boundaries. Sometimes over done is done just right. Sometimes you feel like making a statement and nobody would get poorly dressed from that outfit...Not even Ashley. Some times men's traditional clothing staples get boring. Brian gets top marks from me for pushing his limits and encouraging me to push my style norms.

I would love to see you review outfits from Antonio from real men real style and Raphael Preston and Kyle from gentlemen's Gazette.
