I have a very basic question, hopefully.
Will the MIDI controller also turn on/off the pedal? For example, can a footswitch be assigned to turn on a Strymon pedal and select a certain preset? Or would I need to turn on the pedal with it's own footswitch then use the MIDI controller to select presets?

please make a video on how to set up the omni ports to switch an amplifier foot switch.

So is there any delay when switching between sounds?

Trying to understand how to use a midi controller is like trying to learn a foreign language. It took me ages just to figure out how to get a midi mate to sequence between a bank of presets on an Eventide let alone anything more advanced. Has anything changed with this upgraded technology or is it more complicated than ever? It shouldn't take 100 hours to study how to use it.

Fantastic upgrades! You should make an app for existing MC users that uses this screen layout on a tablet. Use the USB connection from the pedal to a tablet to display realtime switching and power tablet. Bigger light strips or make the name colored and light on/ off with switching. Android/ Apple compatible. Please

Will we be able to upload our saved MC6mkii backup files into this MC6 Pro or will we have to write everything in from scratch because it's a totally new controller? Curious.

I agree with many comments here. What's the point to post this video when the product is not available? It just makes people irritated and looks really bad on the company. Release a video like this when you got all the stock to satisfy your customer base. Otherwise, I am afraid you will lose them. (I mean us.)

It says it's already sold out on your page, I'd rather see a new batch of MC8 than this "pro" model that's more expensive than what the MC8 used to be... You should invest in a proper distribution with enough stock to prevent people from asking ridiculous prices for these, even your official distributors charge TWICE the price of what you advertise on your page, and the excuse is taxes and shipping but with a proper stock and distributor and couriers these expenses could be much less
