The first phase got a lot easier when locking off. Thanks. I usually get to the second phase on a couple flasks now. However.
The only time the Wyvern flies up and breaths fire down is when I'm a couple steps past its head so I can't outrun it 9 times out of 10.
Sharp Sellsword Twinblades +10 two-handed with lighting applied directly to the head never breaks 300 when hitting the head from the front. My Dex is at 32. What were your stats to be pulling off that kind of damage?

I spent multiple nights trying to beat this boss and never got his second phase even halfway. this morning i finally decided to find a guide explaining his timings and stuff. Welp, I watched this before work. When I got home later i decided to try again and got him on the second try. So im giving you the credit. Thank you so much! Loreena does best how-to. They made Nameless King fight harder, recently. In dragon fight, it was about 35 percent lightning and 25 percent when dragon goes up and attacks down, but doesn't fly over you and reset. Those 2 are easy to punish with a heavy weapon. Normally I was out of first phase in like 30 seconds. Now it's mano a mano. And I'm lucky to win 50/50 in first phase. What I think I'm gonna do is use Loreena's dual wield swords, and actually learn dragon fight better. Loreena has good eyes. She sees what we are missing in crucial boss fights.

The most dangeorus attack of Phase 1 hasn't been explained. And I'm curious, why so many tutorials doesn't mentioned it at all... I mean the dragons 2nd fire attack, which kills me EVERY SINGLE TIME he's doing it -.-

If you wouldn't mind I'm going to drop a couple of pointers for pure strength builds.
#1 If you are a pure strength build phase one is literally the easiest boss battle in the entire game I promise you.
Get out a max level greatsword or hammer with high stagger potential.
Coat it with a lightning spell or lightning pine resin. Ignore the people who tell you not to use Target lock Three hits will produce a stagger and one critical strike will kill the peacock. It takes just a few seconds of the first phase and learning the moveset to achieve this is really easy.
Second phase.
It's cowardly and I'm not proud of it But get out your bow and simply find the sweet spot between aggroing that insanely vicious murderer and losing your target lock If you're an expert player you should be able to find this range and easily dodge the few attacks that come your way on your first try.
If you're like me and you suck at this game it's still only takes you a couple of tries. Simply circle and shoot .
not trying to one up anybody it's just that this overall strategy is very simple and easy.

After probably 40 attempts and two other playthroughs I finally got him. I’ve skipped him twice due to him not being worth my sanity. you explained it pretty clearly and I grabbed the winblades and down he went.🎉

it is even possible to stay distanced. i figured that if you are about 3 to 4 rolls away from him, he just calmly walks towards you. in this distance, I cast one spell and roll backwards once or twice again. this way, we move around the stadium pretty weird. i got him to 1/4 this way, before i ran out of spells.
If you are too close or too far away, he is going to rush and attack, though.

i feel like with mouse and keyboard there are 0 camera problems, never had a problem here tbh

In the first phase the lightning slam is a lot easier to dodge than the lightning throw.

Hi, I really enjoyed your, I would like to see more videos because I've been playing since before it came out I played it as a demo first

I took my Longbow +7 and fire arrows for phase 2 and just shot him constantly, got him on my 3rd try (after over 50 „normal“ tries). So glad I‘m through with him. I thought dancer of the boreal valley was though, but man oh man. Now the twin princes will go down next.

When i was at second phase i used long ranged spells. I used gnawing miracle.

but the thing that worked for me the most was using the lightning stoneplate ring and using armour strong against lightning and physical and also ember is goated

This boss is a pain in the ass. Haven’t beat him yet but the camera angles and the window actually being able to hit him makes it so infuriating.

Okay but... how to beat the hardest boss ever ? The camera angles !?!

The biggest problem I have with this boss is that I don't get much practice fighting the 2nd phase, because most of my time with the boss I spend fighting the dragon. Then when I'm against the king himself, I can't practice dodging his attacks much. Spend an hour fighting any other boss and you'll learn all the moves and how to avoid and punish them. But with this one, I can't get much practice on the king when most of the time it's me killing the dragon. I can kill the dragon, but still use more Estus than I would like to and I still die occasionally to it. I think it will get better and I will get more practice with the king after I've perfected the art of killing the dragon so I can do it effortlessly to get to the 2nd phase.

I am closing this tab with a sigh of relief, most rewarding feeling ive ever got from a videogame lol. Thank you for the tips, definitely made this victory possible!

Couple of the hints really helped, finally beat this guy. Only boss in the Soulsborne series I tried and didn't beat. Been a while since I've felt that massive relief after beating a boss. Thanks.

Just went back to Nameless King after getting Platinum in Elden Ring and Demon's Souls. Tried 5 times tonight. He got me each time before I even killed the dragon. Quite annoying boss. Hate the camera
