I loved your group dynamic so much, good vibes, a nice area, friendly contacts with residents - felt good while watching. :)
(I just recently discovered yours and Sharlas channels, so I might be a bit of binge-watching lately. ^^)
This is very strange that the store is called Cub Center! I am from the mid west in the US and this is a regional (Minnesota and Illinois only) grocery store! The font is even the same 😂
ОтветитьI'd be so overwhelmed :')
ОтветитьImagine, being a local and those two Vloggers, armed with their cameras, are strawling arround your local grocery sore being like:'' woah look at those fruit uhhh look at that crap over there. Ahh this is so exotic.'' Just wondeful.
ОтветитьNorman: abruptly and cheerfully “-and cheese!”
Me: giggling like a 2-year-old
They don't have fudge? that's interesting...
ОтветитьMe: Ah yes, the before times when shopping was normal and you could chill in the store. This is nice to look back on.
Sharla: Can we look at toilet paper?
Me:...too soon.
Not quite jokes aside lovely video and many hopes we can see stuff like this again.
Living in Germany I have to admit: WE NEED BENTO BOXES IN OUR STORES! o_o
ОтветитьThey are soo look good together hope more collab with sharla
ОтветитьVery cool but holy shit do they have to put plastic on every piece of fruit??
ОтветитьNo Name, you guys prove you're Canadian just by your brand name knowledge. Old Dutch Sour Cream and Onion are the best chip in the world.
ОтветитьSharla lookin like Killa straight outta Tarkov
ОтветитьNice, thanks
Ответитьye alcohol in japan is not cheap, it's just very expensive in canada xD
ОтветитьJapan, where even a supermarket is interesting to explore.
ОтветитьI can shop here for at least half a day..slowly comb through all the aisle available there
ОтветитьLooking forward for your camping video. Soon?
ОтветитьWoah - how much PLASTIC is going on here !!!! :(
ОтветитьI’m always fascinated by grocery stores and other countries I always make sure to visit them if I can it’s fascinating to see the differences and similarities
ОтветитьI love it when you and Sharla costream! And it's so special to see the regional goods in Japan! They really seem to have such a strong regional pride.
ОтветитьRecently discovered the Tokyo Tuesday series and I've decided to binge a few this evening. ... butt pudding and toilet candy? Lol
ОтветитьAnd now on my Tokyo Lens day… I am watching old videos and feeling very hungry seeing all the snacks! And missing Japan like mad 💖
ОтветитьI just found this channel and I love it!
ОтветитьReally love you two together ❤️
ОтветитьI wish i lived there from the start just for all the food alone
ОтветитьI have a guilty pleasure of exploring supermarkets in countries or areas of my own country that I’m not familiar with. It’s so interesting to see the different things they have or the different things they don’t have.
ОтветитьGetting hungry!
ОтветитьThe energy you and Sharla give off is great!
ОтветитьWhy is liquor so expensive in Canada, like with the extra tax and whatnot?
ОтветитьThe anko toast... xD made me remember eating toast with butter and anko in 2008.
ОтветитьThose apple pie KitKat are probably my favorite ones so far!
ОтветитьI can’t wait to visit Japan just to eat all the snacks! 🍿Probably need to be healthy for a few weeks before visiting.
ОтветитьThis is me when I go to T&Ts in Canada haha 🤩.
ОтветитьGood to know I will when I ever visit Aoimori take the blue can of apple juice :D
ОтветитьI have already made peace with the fact im going to be gaining weight in Japan.
Ответитьnow i want apple juice
ОтветитьThey have those checkouts in Tokyo too. Belx and Life definitely have them. You just need to shop in the same supermarkets that I do.
ОтветитьAll the fruit! It looked so tastyy~
ОтветитьI know this is such a small thing, but seeing a grocery store in another country is SO interesting. What a lovely last video for the Tohoku Road-trip series ❤
ОтветитьI honestly rate how good a supermarket is by their bakery section
ОтветитьSupermarkets are one of the things I don't explore very often when visiting Japan, mostly because what I need is readily available at combini. Other than the premade foods I don't find them much different from any other asian supermarket, even the ones here in North America.
Ответитьwow Japan seems to be a heaven for alcohol hahaha. In Germany a small bottle of Nikka Barrel costs 40 bucks, Johnnie Walker red Label 18 bucks. Sometimes half of the price of a bottle of rum is taxes 🙄
ОтветитьOf course I would buy kit kats! And... maybe a toilet 😂
ОтветитьOh god that bakery section with with cooked meals looks so damn tasty...
ОтветитьFruit sauce = blueberry syrup in USA
ОтветитьWhen I was in SG, I went to some supermarket, and they had self checkout counters only, and it was kinda confusing at first
Ответить
