I like some of your ideas a lot, as you say, not all of them work for everyone. The biggest bias I noticed is that I’m a short busty girl with big hips and some of the suggestions just don’t work the same on my very different body type. The vertical side stripe is an awesome one but it accentuates my curves and makes me look more hourglass and less just ‘thin’.
I love v necks but being busty I have frequently been treated badly (by women) for showing any cleavage!
I used to love high high heels, but I think it is something about the proportions, rounded ones always looked better on me and lengthened my legs more than the sharper stiletto types
But even the tanning and hair up or down is a lot down to our personal colouring and bone structure. I did watch your entire video, it wasn’t what I was looking for (I’m trying to design a jacket or coat and it has to be flattering for a long Canadian winter so … you know, lots of planning, it has to look good with everything ideally!)
I found it interesting, but again, I think it’s really important to remember that someone with a darker complexion is going to have different shadows than someone who has pale skin and different bone structure.
The only thing that i absolutely can’t agree to disagree with you on is the ‘instant facelift’ pull back your hair so it hurts - even as a joke.
Hair needs to be treated with so much gentle love ❤! People do a lot of damage to their hair and it really shows. Sleep on silk, put nurturing oils in your hair, getting a hair nurturing regime as well as a skin regime. Both things are part of looking beautiful and there is a point where beauty trumps ‘thin’.

One of the best ways to look slimmer younger and good in your clothes is good posture - so many young ones already have a dowagers hump - and when they sit down they look fatter and shorter - and it doesn’t matter if you’re no longer a size 6 - good posture trumps all

I searched the word fashion on internet and found you! Your advises confirm most of my opionions on fashion and you express them so well It seems to me that women used to dress better in the 60s, 70s and 80s. Fashion seems to be dissapearing so I am thrilled to find this channel. BTW You look a lot cuter and prettier in ponytail then your hair down...just my opinion.

My mom always compliments me with my hair back in a high tight pony like “WOW you look so great”... I’m like how could I look better if my chins are showing, but I guess it elongates my super round face. My hair is thick so very voluminous/puffy when down. now that I think about it, a boyfriend in high school said my head looks big when I wear it down and I look more mature with hair up 🤷🏻‍♀️ I still like it down but I’ll remember it next time I want to look “slimmer”
