saints row 3 was fun and funny

This feels more like a current gen game than the latest one that just released and I'm not talking about the bugs and glitches in that one. Its like they just put a new coat of paint on this game and somehow made it worse.

Watching this now with the "toned down" Saints Row (2022) coming out soon, but seeing lots of hate for Saints Row 3 in the comments. I never played 1 or 2, but really liked 3 because it didn't take itself seriously which sets it apart from being a GTA knockoff (GTA 4 and afterwards.... eh). To each their own, but I am loving re-watching the Thrid now in HD.

How can I free roam in this game without mission

The graphics is amazing i mean really really good, but i can't ignore the mouth movement, it's bad it's like a really bad lip sync, but nah maybe it's just me.

Man I love this genre of games but I was actually turned onto them years later. I first started playing 4 and as soon as I seen it I knew I had done myself a disservice by the amount of times ide seen it in game shops but opted to buy something different. 2019 was the first time that I had played 4 and I loved it straight away. I have only ever played 3 and 4 but I love em very much. I ain't ever played 1 and 2 so I don't know the full story but I intend to one day.

A whole lot of people (in comments to the latest SR5 trailers, which I very much agree suck) seem to prefer SR1 and SR2 over subsequent games, but I share Brad's feeling's that SR3 was the best... That said, I also personally preferred SR4 over the first two games.

In any case, I really don't like the "more woke" (i.e. puritanical / conformist) direction in which they seem to be going with the upcoming game. And I'm a Canadian progressive, which should say a lot. I hope that part of the reason they delayed the game until 2024 is that they realised it would be a total bomb because they tried too hard to cater to what they perceived to be the "social climate" (actually quoting developers here). I'm not keeping my hopes up. :(
