L Theme A B C

The first theme is such a good song and I love the leitmotif it creates as musical shorthand for L's character throughout the series.

However, the B theme may be slightly more of my favorite. It's actually kind of playful, an aspect of L's character that gets shadowed by the more serious parts. He cracked little subtle jokes and made sarcastic asides, though his dry wit and deadpan humor weren't often acknowledged by the other characters. Aizawa was one of the few to actually show enjoyment at L's quips. But he was funny! Actually, that makes me wonder about the scene after Misa as Kira 2 has killed that other police officer as he ran to the TV station, and L stops Aizawa from going too, saying "If something happened to you too..." Aizawa then notices L is shaking really badly and is surprised. I suspect L had an attachment to Aizawa since he craved a parental figure and Aizawa felt the most accessible, with his young children, L having lost his own parents when he was young and clearly having been traumatized by it. Soichiro Yagami wouldn't have served the same role, seeing as there was the whole Light complication and he didn't have the same supportive interactions with L.

The only anime I cheer for is the antagonist

I didn’t get sad from L dying, just disappointed. L died knowing that Light was Kira.

Kira smiled at L while L slowly closed his eyes.
That confirmation was all he needed to go out peacefully.

you know what's funny? the picture is not L but BB :) The difference between of them is L usually has "blue-grey-ish" colour eyes, BB has red eyes bcs of his Shinigami eyes

This everlasting fight of light over Darkness, without light there IS no Darkness and without Darkness, light cannot shine. What IS justice and what IS Mercy ? Right and left.
