Do you know where to find velveteen fabric by the yard? I want to make shorts of of it. I have scoured the internet (including the website you recommended above and etsy) and cannot find velveteen fabric by the yard. Do you know why it's so hard to find? I'm specifically trying to find dark brown. You can find tons of velvet but velvet does not have the same look. Velvet is too shiny. Velveteen is more matte. I have some fabulous velveteen shorts that no longer fit that I wanted my tailor to replicate but we can't find the fabric! Or I might consider velvet it is was non-stretch, matte, and not too thick. Again, this is to make a pair of shorts. Any recommendations? Thanks
