I live in Oregon but the people are the same when they enjoy the true American pastime of hunting and family Thanks for sharing
ОтветитьLove the tradition...hang on to it!
ОтветитьLove deer camp
ОтветитьCan I come join the hunt with my dog I’m from New York and I’m gonna be in Louisiana during deer season with/or without dog season and I’m licensed but I’m not to sure on your guys laws with bringing dogs cause I would really like to bring my boy with me. If you could get back that would be greatly appreciated thanks. He’s a born natural.
ОтветитьBrings back lots of memories. I hunted the basin and all around it.
We did man drives. I got my first deer on a drive.
I've watched this twice I really enjoy it, it reminds me of deer camp in Northern, Maine. I hope you make another derr camp video this year.
ОтветитьSome of my best memories as a kid were from deer camp in east Tx out by Caddo Lake with my dad, uncles, cousins and grandpa.
ОтветитьWow!! No wonder y’all are so skinny 🤣😂!!! Wish I could experience it too!!
ОтветитьThat's pretty cool. I'd love to bring a truck load down there and experience it 1 time. It's way different from the way we do it here in NC.
Ответитьwow what a amazing time that would be!! Thank you for sharing this
ОтветитьGood friends, good hunt and good times. Life don't come any better than that. That's the good life. God bless.
ОтветитьBelly full of beer and a possum Ina sack!😂
ОтветитьWow, deer hunting/running dogs and using rifles? Seems very unsafe! I’ve only heard and done this with shotguns.
ОтветитьSouthern tradition running hounds
ОтветитьAnother great video thanks for sharing again 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
ОтветитьVirginia dog hunter here. Awesome video of how deer camp should be! Keep them runnin!!!
ОтветитьIs this at Camp Irene?
ОтветитьI have lived long enough to realize that I never really fully appreciated what I had when I had it. What you are getting to experience is more valuable than money and more important than power. Friendship, brotherhood and good food. Thank you GOD for all your blessings.
ОтветитьGreat video! No place like the deer camp.
ОтветитьLooks good.
ОтветитьSome of my first deer hunts were with dogs. We didn't have tracking collars for the dogs so often times we hunted deer for 2 hours and dogs for 2 days! I transitioned from a dog hunter to a still hunter then to a Traditional Bowhunter! Bowhunting teaches you so much more about deer since you spend so much more watching deer than shooting deer! Great Times!
ОтветитьIs there alot of squirrels id like to come down and squirrel hunt guys id go opposite of you all I'm in western North Carolina some flat land would be nice this is awsome guys
ОтветитьSome of my best times at hunting camp was when I never shot anything.
ОтветитьI almost like the food and comradery than I do the deer hunting!!
ОтветитьWonder how many dogs become gator food
ОтветитьMan I'm in my early 30s. I haven't heard a horn blown like that in 20 + yrs. Gave me goose bumps and brought back many many memories.
ОтветитьI hunted on blank river for years until they turn into a wildlife management area and cut the dogs out I went down there a few times after and it is not the same
ОтветитьJared great video! Please, please, please give us some more videos of the dog hunting. I grew up hunting in the basin in Butte La Rose on what they call the Island and hunted with dogs from 1983 until 1998 and I miss it terribly. Nobody has these videos of dog hunting in the basin. I would love to get back into a hunting club that runs dogs. You would not by any chance be looking for members?
ОтветитьNot one peice of seasoning on the meat lmao and then took it right from the packaging to the fire. This is not louisiana 😒 🤣
ОтветитьMan, I sure miss hearing the hounds on a scent! Those were some great times with the New Sarpy Deer Club! We had 3,000 acres in the Maurepas Swamp. 2,000 of the acres became a Management Area around 2001 or so, and the last 1,000 acres we lost the lease to a couple of lawyers in 2005.
ОтветитьU need better dogs
ОтветитьAll I can say is, great video!!
ОтветитьBack when I was a boy hunting with dogs is all we knew. Great video. It sure brought back great memories.
ОтветитьLoved running deer with dogs in mississippi. Why all the store bought meat at hunting camp?
ОтветитьNow that's my style of hunting!!!!
ОтветитьFantastic video Jared! You hit deer camp perfectly. Brought back some great old memories
ОтветитьHound hunting is a part of all of our history. Embrace it
ОтветитьI live in Warren Arkansas, a great place to deer, hog, rabbit, and racoon hunting.. I really like this video, but please wash the meat before cooking it. You have no idea of the hands and care of the cutting machines to trust not rinsing the meat before preparing....The only meat you can't rinse is ground meat..Thanks again for this great video
ОтветитьCulled coondawgs....
ОтветитьHe chose poorly with his little finger. Little man should have used the biggest one.
ОтветитьOne of the main things I miss about moving north and commercialization of hunting. My kids literally have no idea how it used to be. Now unless you hunt overcrowded public, know someone, or have $$$ you are shite out of luck. The "family" isn't there any more. It's sad.
ОтветитьI grew up hunting deer with hounds in Northeast Mississippi. It’s a long standing way to hunt in the Deep South. Have not dog hunted in several years, but its still very active here. I enjoy setting in my tree stand and hear a pack chasing one in the distance.
ОтветитьCool we're the hogs great 👍 place for hogs.
ОтветитьGood times and brings back good memories but….bro that chicken wing needed to stay on the fire a little longer. Pink is for beef.
ОтветитьGood living here 👍🏿
ОтветитьBrings back memories. I was born and raise in South Louisiana. Still live there but now I hunt on land I own in Mississippi but I sure cherish my days of hunting the swamps.
ОтветитьThem Shelly's still hunt out there
ОтветитьFor me, it was the Panama Hunting club, which is now primarily the Maurepas Wildlife Managements area. Great Video
ОтветитьGood friends, family, fun, deer is just a bonus, enjoyed it guys.
ОтветитьSO GLAD, hunting deer with dogs was outlawed in Texas. We have 10 times the deer now.
