Breathedge Review // Worth Your TIME?!

I disagree bud, this game is fantastic. The only thing unbeleiveably mediocre is your content. It's a game you can learn and adapt too as you play. If you enjoy exploring a new and vast map on a survival game, I'd recommend this. People trash the game because they haven't beat it and because it gets moderately more difficult with each stage. So if your one of those people that give up on things that are hard, don't bother with this game because you'll just complain about how bad it is. If you enjoy the challenge and are looking for a game to pass time and have fun in. I'd recommend breathedge. Also the game is rated really high so clearly I'm not the only one who enjoys it. Either way, have a great day and give it a go if you want. Or don't.

The game is a masterpiece, the comedy is excellent, the gameplay is fun, the story is excellent, the way you slowly just become from going in and out of ur spaceship to literally just going wherever you want, the dragging imo made me want to go thru space more and more dometimes even forgetting what my main task is, that's how fun it is, crafting is fun, to be honest literally evrything in this game is good. The AI in ur suit also in my oppinion has some good jokes and i love it's voice. I don't know what this game did to me but i never ever got bored while playing it. Got it for free and i would literally biy it again.

Just finished the game, it's great ! slow burner for sure... but, it gives you the feel of how empty and big the space is... loved the vibe. Audio design is great, visuals are great. Story is funny and the game doesn't take itself serious at all. 8.2/10

I gotta disagree with this review.. I bought it years ago, and thought it was quite good. I enjoyed it quite a lot.

I have never been so disappointed at a crafting/basing/exploring game. Very early it already felt so tedious, the tools breaking after barely a few uses was a big biiig issue for me. Also the big balloon oxygen things you can deploy take some kinda tedious resorces to craft, but then you still need to craft something to refill those EVERY TIME they are depleted...... i got the oxygen upgrades and I still felt like it was not enought to barely go anywhere. It got so borign so fast.... Subnautica also has oxygen / walking around mechanics yet i enjoyed it a lot, it's done better than this.

bah... what you said is true but it's not too bad... it makes you spend a few hours in a relaxed way, it's not a masterpiece, and it's true that at a certain point it completely changes register but it's pleasant play. At a reduced price it's a nice little game.

Tried it out for a few hours, it is boring af. I will just return to playing factorio or something...

just realised that the first chapter was kinda fun to explore but its just dumb that youre soo slow, maybe making us faster coulb make the shit better.

played four hours, first chapter is easy, second one is just farming and getting tired. The first time you have to create a module i had no aluminium and had no drill, had to search and seaerch for rubber until i died of hunger, after that just came back to my base to search for mats to make a drill, i came back and realised that i had to make another moudle and farm more and more, its not even fun, left the game right there, cant believe that the game its just boring and wasted four hours of my life.

i actually just finished it yesterday , its a fun game , you talked a lot about how it doesnt have mobility mechanism and the oxygen run out fast but thats only at the start of the game , after you do some tasks and do some upgrades the oxygen wont be a problem also you will have a lot of places near the task places to get oxygen so its not really a prob , and the mobility you have acceleration upgrade which will make thing easier and you can use it with the bike to boost you faster , i only agree about the ai in the suit but its kinda funny how cringe it is , also you can build your own station and many stuff but the building isnt top tier but fine , in total i had fun playing it 8/10

I disagree, as free game this is great. The idea that boring random poker is better than this, is just nonsense .
For an indie game made by an handful of people, it's quite good, at least the v1.1. It does has some evident problems but there is a good enjoying part in the middle of it if you like space.
They should have made clear you had to explore to find upgrades, and upgrades should come fasters. When you have the military equipment, air is not even a problem anymore, but you can end the game without knowing it exists. Vehicles should also be faster and upgradable too.
It's a classic case where the developer made 95% of the hard work part and missed the 5% of easy design that would make the game 100% better. They also tried to do too much, which is another common problem for indies, the last part of the game wasn't needed, they should have focused on the survival mechanic.

The first part of the game is great. I liked the building and the exploration. The second half, loses everything that made the first half enjoyable.

I just finished it. It nearly took 30 hours and ofc it has some problems but I actually liked it. 8/10

I bought the game when it came out. And I must say, I enjoyed it. It is for sure not the greatest game of all time. I believe you have to be open for the humor. All in all I don't regret the time I put into this. I would encourage subnautica fans to give it a try. Alot of players didn't like the last walking simulator part. For me the game just ended before it and the rest was just a very long ending sequence.

@Nyxson You are the type of person that could not build an epic Castle, Town or Village in Minecraft block-by-block due to your ADD and ADHD. And for that reason the game Breathedge is a terrible boring game to you. Got it! However, the game Breathedge is beyond fantastic, it is amazing! The emersion alone is incredible. People like you with Mental Health instabilities won't like it for reasons of which, I already stated. The humor in the game is a welcomed addition to the gaming experience. Yet if you are mentally slow causing you to crave instant gratification for little to know effort. like most people with your mental challenges, then it is obvious why Genius escapes all aspects of your mental prowess. Many who support your opinion, like you, will always be mediocre at best: never able to handle gaming content that requires you to actually work for it. The game Breathedge is actually way harder than "SubNautica" or "Sub Nautica Below Zero", and definitely requires way more patience than someone seeking a game that provides instant gratification.

I totally agree with you, I got the game for free and played it for 2 hours, I can't beleive I wasted my time for this, I thought it was gonna be a fun space exploring and survival game but NO. It's a grinding/walking simulator that is so boring. You just take stuff, make stuff, use stuff over and over. For anyone reading this comment don't even consider playing the game if you dont want to waste your time. btw I subbed your content is great!

I do not agree - I get that game on Epic for free, played like 8 hours now, and I can say it is funny (but must to say that the game use specific kind of humour, that not everybody likes) and tbh I am enjoying that.

I will continue with playing - because long time no see the game that I enjoyed that much like this "shit" :)
