its important to note the cool down on the hightide ability too. You can throw it out at least three times per round if it lasts that long. That means there is no reason to be conservative with when you use it. Especially when it comes to defence. One of my favourite ways to use high tide in defence is to use a center point and then send the wall down the middle through an object you can use for cover like a box. walling like this can literally divide a site in half and give you the ability to isolate fights.

Take Ascent A for instance. There is the stack od bricks next a glass box in the middle of the site. High tide through the bricks through the middle of the A main entrance and now site is split in half. Attackers will try to yse either side of the wall but when they step through they are separated from thwir teamates. Its not a problem for you since you can easily step on either side if the wall and pick off enemies.

The cover that harbor utility gives you also allows for next level repositioning abilities. Dont stay in one place after getting a kill, stay on the move which makes you more unpredictable and harder to put down.

I love playing harbor but I never really learned to play him the absolute best so I want to learn to get better with him

Came back after a year or so and I absolutely love Harbor. If his ult was better I think he'd be considered A or S tier. So much flexibility on offense and defense with his other moves. Nice video!

Just unlocked Harbor yesterday! Because I suck at aiming, I use his High Tide to divide and conquer. Even the most open zone becomes a labyrinth of walls of water. I use the close quarters to my advantage and use the Ares or possibly a shotgun.

Great guide

With a good harbor main, there lies the necessity of a proper co-operative team...which is not possible in solo queue. I play Harbor when there is a controller missing in our team. But every time, I use my ability and ask the team to push, this happens:-

Some random duelist going alone to A site, while I have set everything up on B.

Some guy goes afk

Some guy just randomly flashes teammates and bait other

Some guy just goes alone and die

And when I try to push, they just stare at me camping in corners. And yeah, as you can expect, I die every time I try to push, because the opponents are either in a group of 2 or 3. So I get traded.

Harbor isn't for solo queueing, at least not in low elos like iron, bronze and silver

I started playing harbor and hes fun. If done right, you can rush a site by walling off every possible angle where an enemy can be. But his ult can be better imho.

this is pretty good ngl, ive been playing harbor for a few weeks. this helped alot. My playstyle goes really well with harbor. I am offensive and his kit is perfect for me.
