I still don’t understand why when they’re building drag strips, why they don’t have a longer sand trap. Some of them are so short why not just make it “endless” with no back wall after the sand. Would’ve saved a few life’s.

no chutes and no brakes so he is in the sand trap they need to fix this. Conditions like this is what killed Kaletta and Medlen but today they have new systems to prevent cars from wrecking when they hit the nets.

Everyone says that the guy who packed the chute is fired, but it ironically brought one of the best moments in drag racing. I've never seen a real video of brakes glowing hot.

That net worked amazingly well. Also, That guy spends more time in the sand than David hasselhoff.
