Baking powder is not needed for this recipe.
Important for success is to make a firm meringue(But not too much) and don't to overmix the batter. These two things are important to make the cake puffed up. Good luck!

I made it and it came out delicious.. but the top crust was pale....I used all purpose flour, is it due to that?

I'm sure it would have turned put great!! But unfortunately my egg wishes weren't hard enought I kept on beating them and they looked liquid then I tried with another bunch of eggs still the same...but that's my fault...😅

Why di we need to wrap plastic and then foil to a baking mould. The mould has no houle like the lock ring on a round pan?

Okay, this is my third year trying. I've finally bought an electric mixer and it's my first time EVER succeeding in making a meringue. Now, it's in the oven. Half an hour left to wait patiently. Hope it works! 🤞

Made this recipe 2 times exactly following the measurements and copied techniques..But sadly the cake collapsed when i took it out of the oven..Very sad and dissappointed and wasted ingredients

If cut recipe in half how long time does it takes to bake? 35 to 40 mins at 150°C
