You rock thank you!
ОтветитьSomething that worked really well for me when learning to do windmills, was transferring my corkscrew in to a windmill. That really helped me get a feel for windmills. Made me realize I already knew the technique, just had to transfer it
ОтветитьThank you! You've taught me the windmills! Especially the second method worked so well! I learnt it within like 30 minutes :D wow
ОтветитьThanks I’m gonna try this and help your algorithm.
ОтветитьI finally got this after so many hours, I was definitely overthinking it 😭 Thanks for your tutorials Drex, your hard work is very appreciated.

ОтветитьBrilliant!!!
ОтветитьI just started but find these so hard and impossible , not sure why
ОтветитьI really appreciate your videos and your art ! As a very beginner, some slow motion videos helped me a lot! Maybe you can do some analysis in slow motion as well? Best & Thanks!
ОтветитьHow do you spin/ turn with windmills?
ОтветитьGreat video, going to try both methods
ОтветитьWindmills were probably the most difficult poi move to learn for me but I finally got it perfect thanks to these tutorials 👍🙌
ОтветитьYour videos are amazing, so informative, zen and fun - thank you so so much !!!!!!!! I have advanced hoop skills and could do poi right to left but never understood the other way, and doing backwards etc. I'm following each beginner poi tutorial day by day and it's a life saver for movement meditation and keeping the brain and body active. The publishing quality of these videos are great too. Thank you for all you are creating and sharing. Yay to Drex you have the X Factor :) xox
ОтветитьYour the besttt
ОтветитьWhat are your thoughts on 4oz poi?
ОтветитьThis is insane because even before seeing the "russian method" I instantly recognized (seeing the windmill) that it is easier for me to think as if it was a tuck drop behind the shoulders, exactly as explained with that method, or in other words, you just have to think that one poi follows the other, slightly delayed. I think it is just more intuitive and easy to think like that for me!!
ОтветитьOH! yeah, i learned the 'sheath the swords on your back' paradigm from GloFX's Chase the Sun tutorial, but i never realized you can use it for windmills!!! OMG, after 3 years i can finally do a windmill! i looked so cool, just like drex! ;D
but i thought on the bottom, you had to spin the following hand in front of your navel, not behind your back. i was like, 'drex, you're nuts!!' but i tried it, and it's SO MUCH BETTER that way! (yes, sorta commenting on multiple videos at once. oops.)
lastly, for visualizing the under-the-arm move... i always thought of that like a nunchuck move, where you rebound the 'chucks under your arm. though i guess that's only helpful for people who have worked with or watched a lot of nunchuk moves.
Top marks Drex! Helped me 10 fold since following your vid's
ОтветитьThank you, its so cool!!!!
