Don't you use fast drying top coats? I couldn't imagine painting my nails without them.

I'll have to look into that nail polish base. I've been adding some clear polish and a few drops of thinner to bring my glitters back to life when the base evaporates.

I use Naked Mani glossy seal as a top coat. it works like a qdtc. Loved your video!

Oh c'mon, show us your toes. 🦶 😄 I don't have those exact colores of L.A. Color last, but the Rose gold color I do have dries in what I'd say is a normal amount of time. 🤷‍♀️ Not sure if that's of any help or not.

I have both CG Frostbite and SC Green Ocean. So, I'm going to try that combo next!

I don’t have the polishes that are not drying for you but I recall that you use the Sally Hansen miracle gel topcoat. I had that issue when I used that topcoat. It dried on the top but the layers underneath took forever to dry. And even when I thought it finally had I found out I was wrong when I removed the mani the next day some of my nails were still slightly wet. I’m not quite sure why the topcoat didn’t work but I also know that Miss Hollyberries had the same issue.

Edit: just read the description box and I now know you didn’t use the Sally Hansen. But I would still take a second look at your topcoat. Maybe try the polishes without a gel topcoat? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Love those colors! I've always used the Zoya Satin seal as a satin finish topcoat. Never thought about putting that on my bare nails. But I hear ya on the post swatching mani fatigue. Haha.

Have you recently changed your base and/or top coats with the polishes that you had drying issues?

Loved them L A colours especially the green..we dont have it in the UK

You know, Diana, I had polishes dry slowly and I blamed myself for everything but my body chemistry. That makes a lot of since. I picked up the bright Green la colors color last polish last week (my birthday present from hubby) and I’m not a fan :( it takes three coats for full opacity and the brush in that shade is so funky compared to the other colors I bought :( I put it on my toes yesterday and am happier with it...it’s just not great on my fingernails
